Bigturd has obviously been drinking the koolaid. If he and his liberal friends don't see how Obama is slowly but surely having government take over all aspects of our lives, they are dumber than I thought. Then again, maybe they are already card holding SOCIALIST members.

I have to say that article looks like a pile of shit.

The first sign of trouble is that the article is posted on a website that appears to be oriented towards selling gold and silver. Nothing better for panicking people into cashing out their 401(k)s and buying sliver that making them think their 401(k)s are going to disappear anyway.

I encourage everyone to re-read it and see who said exactly what.

All of the statements about government takeover of 401k planes are merely the quoted statement of the same guy - National Seniors Council Director Robert Crone - over an over.

All the other quotes are small snippets from activists calling for more government regulation to protect 401ks and pension plans from being destroyed by reckless employers that go out of business. Most of the quotes appear to be taken out of context.

Can anyone cite a bill that has been proposed in congress? Or get a copy of the transcript of the Labor Department hearing? Even a newspaper account of it?

If this it true, how could the Wall Street Journal have missed it?
