What I really love to see is all the flag clutching, support the Vets chanting and don’t disrespect the military types tearing down the character of any service member for political convenience.

The comments here are sadly reflective of our country’s illness.

Maybe….just maybe…..how people will govern the country, how fresh and innovative their ideas are, their actual experience in working in government, how they are able to work across the aisle to solve problems, and how people conduct themselves in their personal lives will begin to be what we judge them on.

NOT how well they can tear down anyone who served our country, or how many childish names they can call someone.

Also, military veterans do not get an automatic pass for every act they commit after they're discharged.

You can very easily be a military veteran and simultaneously be a piece of shit.

This idiot Walz is an outstanding example but there are thousands of them.

I'm not being drawn into the assinine argument that these people are beyond reproach, I personally know many of them that are barely average in terms of intelligence and who have the morals of an alley cat.
