lets see

repeal the 2nd amendment

free speech must go, its harmful for anyone to have an understanding that is opposite ours and if we get rid of free speech, out goes money spent as free speech

and what shall we say about the electoral college that we haven't already howled about or, yes, even the senate

and whats this about freedom of religion, it at most it should be freedom of worship

any infringement on what government can do for the people must be removed

i'm sure there's more but we do have other contributors

31% is not a majority. Although it is a lot. While I do not favor repeal of the 2nd Amendment I would like to see it rewritten so that there is no argument as to what it states. In today's world the court system, all the way up to SCOTUS, must interpret the 2nd Amendment as they see it. And then the arguments continue as to whether or not they are seeing it correctly.

FWIW, the issue of gun control is so low on the worry list of people in this country that it barely registers a blip. Here is a Gallup poll taken over a number of recent months that measures such concerns. Back in November 2017, right after the killings in Las Vegas, the gun control issue was a concern of 5% of those polled. Now it is zero.

But by who's definition would we re-write it for?

You and your ilk are stupid fucks for imagining the 2nd Amendment isn't an individual right, speedy. Amendments 1 thru 8 are individual rights, speedy, and Amendment 9 recapitulates that Amendments 1 thru 8 are a list of individual rights, but not all individual rights, speedy. Amendment 10 then recapitulates that anything and everything in regards to prerogatives not granted to the federal government in the Constitution are retained by the states and the PEOPLE, speedy. That you and your ilk stupidly argue the 2nd Amendment is a prerogative of the state while surrounded by seven other amendments also clearly stipulated as "individual" is ridiculous, speedy.

Yes, that is certainly a problem. I know it's never going to happen. Either repeal or rewrite. We will continue to stumble on with an occasional lawsuit making it through the court system all the way to SCOTUS.

I guess we run in different social circles. Most people I know vote with their wallets foremost in their minds. Taxes. Jobs and pay. Cost of living. Social security and medicare/medicaid benefits. Cost of health care is a MAJOR item of discussion.

Here is another poll which was done very recently, asking potential voters the most important issues for the upcoming November elections.

You have absolutely no idea what my beliefs are concerning the 2nd Amendment or any other subject. You continue to make gross assumptions which are usually 180 degrees from reality.

I guess " SHALL NOT BE INFFRINGED" is way to simple for some people to understand . I guess in liberal talk that means take away and control and make money .

For my top 5 items.. I'd say
1) TAXES
2) BORDER control
3) 2amendment protection
4) FIX the damn schools (stopping them being effectively nothing but liberal indoctrination centers)
5) Repeal abortion!

#4 is generally a state problem... that however comes with federal interference (strings attached aid)

Ref # 2- I would say - bill of rights 1 falls they all go
Ref#-4- The Feds control the schools now ( what can be taut NEA ) but the states mostly pay the bills Let the states take back complete control
but I agree with your list thanks
