You just need to substract out the number for the illegal immigrants which is approximately 10 million people. If you do that then the amount of people uninsured (26 million) matches the CBO projection in year 2018 in the column graph in Table 3 from link below. This report was signed by the Director of the CBO, Elmendorf.
Again, over time (2014 - 2018) due to the effects of the ACA the percentage of insured people increases 10% from 83 to 93%. The number of additional people insured will be 23 million on the exchanges.
The reason why the percentage for the insured does not go to 100% is that some people will choose not get health insurance and pay the tax. Some people will fall into a Medicaid gap. Not all states excepted the expanded Medicaid. For example, a family of 4 that makes $20,000 will not qualify for an Obamacare policy on HealthCare.gov. This same family will make too much for Medicaid in the State of Alabama. In order the qualify for Medicaid in Alabama you must make less than 11,000. In this example this family will remain uninsured.

So (and I hope I don't have to research your post) you reduced the 50 million to 40 million by the illegal immigrants, and those numbers didn't work out, so now you reduce the 40 million your originally claimed earlier by 14 million MORE illegal immigrants to arrive at 26 million ... then start "hedging" and "crabbing" with statistics posted by the ACA propaganda machine in the WH and in Nancy Pelosi's campaign headquarters .... (forget Harry .. he's brain dead.)
Of the 40 million YOU ORIGINALLY POSTED ... all but about 12-15 million could not afford health care coverage ... the others get Medicaid, Medicare, or don't want it. It will be IMPOSSIBLE for you or anyone else to "hedge" those numbers and dazzle anyone with bullshit. That is why most of the voters in this country don't want the ACA.
Why else would the Dems be frightened with the upcoming elections? Florida was a shot across the bow ... with a heavy load. So, they get a pass from the stroke of Obaminable's pen with another delay of the mandate ....
which you claim the "noninsured" will pay!!!!!
The taxpayers are carrying Obaminable's water on this one. He doesn't care.
So he couldn't fix the website so he will just give away the internet!!!!! That's a liberal for you!!!
BTW: The internet is not an asset of the United States Government. This guy is screwing us left and left!

The success of the ACA will depend on the health insurance companies. Will they continue to sell health insurance polices on the exchanges in 2020? The employer group market is not really changing other than the new policies will have to be offered by the health insurance companies in 3 years.

For obvious reasons I did not report the Fox links or National Review ... so..
http://laborunionreport.com/2014/03/...unions-report/
This is the sting:
"As the first union that endorsed then-candidate Barack Obama, UNITE-HERE has done an about face on Obama’s signature piece of legislation, the Affordable Care Act."
I am familiar with this union. Mostly minorities. Mostly low wage earners.
Their employers shifted their health care responsibility to the union and the union is now suffering for it with the membership. It typifies the reality of what the stats are not telling and what this administration wants to hide.

LexusLover, you did not even look at Table 3 in the link did you? Go look at the column for the year 2018. The director of the CBO(Elmendorf) predicts that 93 percent of all citizens under age 65 will be insured. The number of people who are not insured is 26 million not 36 million. He also estimates that 23 million people will get health insurance from the exchanges. There is nothing else left to say. The ACA is going forward. The year of 2019 is the year to look at to determine if the ACA is a failure or not.

the only mess we're in is the mess the right wing dreamed up beginning day one starting with their socialist BS .... chances are better than 90-10 ... if the rednecks would stfu no one other than the millions of new people with an insurance policy in their pocket could tell the difference

... at the moment I know of no "right-winger" who voted for the ACA.
But if you do, please post their name and elected position.
Your "theory" does provide an interesting tactic though .....
.. the "right-wing" conspirators can suggest that self-strangulation is a health benefit .... so long as the application continues until the liberal can no longer breath voluntarily ... and the sheep liberals will all commit suicide by strangulation ...

The long term goal of Obamacare could easily be to eliminate the private Health Insurance Market. Even if every person in America had Health Insurance either through their jobs or on their own Obamacare would still be implemented. Because the ACA is not just about lowering Insurance cost it's about having control over an industry through Government intervention. This video really indicates this. There is no doubt in my mind that Obama has a specific reason why he has so diligently placed all his chips on this one piece of legislation.

Obie could be giving the 2.6 million people that lost their jobs in 2008 (ya know, the time this country was doing so well according to COG and JD) a chance to regain their health insurance...

How do people lose their jobs in the first place? They get fired, Laid Off, or their job moves to a different location or becomes insolvent due to changes in the work force. So these people receive unemployment. Which is designed by the way to be temporary, also many companies provide a severance package which can include their Health benefits which may sustain them while in their job search for new employment. Obama is blowing lots of smoke up every ones ass with this ACA. Obama is nothing but a skilled pitchman for something we really know very little about.
