I will pick Lesnar without a doubt. Brock fought the wrong fight vs Cain. Brock should have picked his spots instead of bum rushing the guy. Brock has forgotten that he has good power (broke Keith Herring's orbital bone, dropped Frank Mir in first fight with one hit, and stopped Couture on strikes). You are either born with a good chin or not, Brock is not so he must adjust.
Brock needs to be bulked up again. He had good punching power at 280-285. 20 lbs can make a big difference. I hope to see a "smarter" Brock and he GNP' or chokes the life out of Dos Santos in round 2....

Sixx, you know the weight limit for heavy weight is 260 lbs. I've notice you always go for the underdog. Even though I wouldn't say Brock is the underdog in this one, it is pretty even.

Yeah but Brock looked noticeably smaller in his last fight with Cain. He wasn't as bulked up. Whatever he did the first few fights is what he needs to do in my opinion.
I was a big WWE fan growing up so I like Brock from those days. I think its great that someone with NO MMA background was simply able to come over and compete at the highest level in MMA (UFC) and win. I don't think the Brock haters respect that fact. The MMA purists hate Brock because of that fact. He made the sport "look silly" in some aspects. He is an incredible athlete and whether or not, he wins vs. Cain should be given props. Brock could easily fight less then the best and demolish but only fights the best.....

Sixx, between your record of picking the wrong side in GSP/JS and Mosely/Pac-Man and noting that Lesnar has better punching power at 20-25 pounds over the weight limit that he'll have to meet, you're not exactly winning any converts to Lesnar.

I am a huge wrestling fan as well and I agree that many dislike Brock because of his participation in the WWE. He is an incredible athelete, but sometimes his cockiness gets the best of him like in the first Mir fight and in thr Velasquez fight. He ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he works rather well as a blunt instrument. Just my opinion.
Last night on The Ultimate Fighter, he got schooled by Junior in a football contest. he should have won going away, but he didn't. Competetions like that show his flaws and when he gets in with another guy that can bang like he can he is at a disadvantage. I just hope he has worked on his submission defense for this one.

I think Brock already being a star from WWE actually hurt him because he was thrown in to fight the top heavy weights in UFC. It would have been better to get 3-5 fights under his belt for experience. He is a great athlete but not a natural fighter. Then again there isn't much fighters in the heavy weight division in UFC, 1-2 fights he will be fighting for the title again.

Keep in mind that I said the smart money was on Pac man.
Remember, that most fighters cut weight to make the limit at weigh-in but "balloon" to a higher weight on fight night. Brock was noticeably smaller for the Cain fight but was his "normal" weight when he choked the life out of that country boy Carwin......

Space, I just watched the football contest on DVR. The difference was that Brock couldn't kick a short field goal and make a pass in that ring. I wouldn't say schooled. Line up Brock against Dos Santos on a football line and I guarantee Brock will drive that boy back to Rio.....

Go back and watch again. On the sled drill Junior out drove him on that drill as well. I was surprised that Junior stayed right with him on the ladders as well. The drills that you are talking about are great examples of using skills necessary (hand/eye and foot/eye) to compete in the UFC. No doubt, Brock is a big, strong, hulking, brute, but in many cases (GSP) finesse will win out every time.
