Delmonico's had some issues with their last Health Dept inspection, I didn't read it yet so it could have been minor stuff....

Up the road (erie blvd still, just past paradise plaza) is Texas Roadhouse which has some really good steaks but the lines to get in start forming early (and I'm not joking)

For a little more exotic theres the Caribbean Cafe on Fayette and Midler I think. They make a mean ox tail and the blackened chicken is pretty good too.

For Chinese the most authentic I've had in a long time can be found at a little place downtown on Warren street just before Fayette (I cant recall its name). Dont expect the tamed down americanized stuff you might be used to. My last order of Kung Po chicken was awesome and spicy hot (I like hot)

There really isn't a good german place around anymore :-(
