While I respect hooking isn’t easy, I paid attention in school, went to college for an employable major, and did it without help from others because I knew then what’s still true today - unless you’re born into money there are no shortcuts in life. Did you forget to do the math before posting this, seeing as how thirty bucks an hour full time is roughly $5k per month before taxes and you don't have any overhead because you're working for an employer....

I'd say anyone making that much who has an SO bringing in any sort of income is living the exact same standard of living as I am or higher depending upon the income of their spouse.

Additionally, a single male with no dependents making that much is coming out way ahead with no one to feed, clothe, provide cars for, etc.

If I had an SO I'd be hobbying strictly for fun and raise my rates to like 500 an hour to cut way down on my volume, since it wouldn't be necessary to hobby to pay any bills with both of our RW income combined. I had an SO and it didn't work out between us. I'd rather be single and have to hustle than coexisting with someone that makes me miserable.

Not all providers are over paid people that don't know how to live within normal means. Sure, some are, but not all.
