But threads? I can ignore them just fine without the need for a board function to do it for me.

I agree, bcg. I meant that sarcastically (maybe feigned sincerity a bit too much on that part) and really just said it to frame my rejoinder anyway. Not reading threads one doesn't like is effortless but that stops people from getting to enjoy posting their "who gives a give fuck?" responses in them. My point in the post being that doing that means they at least gave enough of a fuck to respond.
