A reasonable person who knows that they are not a criminal and do not participate in criminal activity-- would have absolutely NO expectation nor assumption that the police would burst into their home at 1AM. Neighbors have all stated that the police DID NOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES. In the state of Kentucky-- a no-knock means they do not have to knock nor announce themselves. In fact, the 911 call from her boyfriend, he states that he had shot an intruder and they had shot his girlfriend... the police report was also problematic.. as it stated that Ms. Taylor was not injured and that they did not force their way in, despite having broken down the door with a battering ram.


But yeah.. cops are just always good, honest citizens.

No nocks should be done away with the exception of hostage situations. That and qualified immunity (Not just for cops but ALL civil or elected servants) should be done away with.

Creed, I don't disagree with your assertion. The firm I work for is always ranked in the top 10 when it comes to diversity this and that every year. When they were boasting about it, I realized that there were never black people or Hispanic people in our executive meetings when we meet in NYC every quarter.

I can go to any of the offices of the firm I work for here in DFW, and I will see many black people and Hispanic people. But they are all bullshit jobs so they make their high diversity rankings off of that. I don't know what they make, but I doubt you could feed your family off of it if you have children without having to take on another job unless you live in a cheap apartment or at a trailer park. ~$45K is decent money when you are single at 21 with no kids, but not so much so when you have a family to feed when you are older.

Edit: And just for the record, I was not trying to insult anyone who makes $45K a year.

I made exactly $0 a year for two years when Lehman Brothers closed and I was living off of my credit cards. I would have felt like I was making a million bucks a year for $45K. I'm cool now but I sure the fuck wasn't back then. I lost everything just like many of my coworkers did. My ESOs (employee stock options) were completely worthless and I had no fucking job so I don't frown upon anyone making $45K a year because I wish I did during those two years.

Nobody would hire me. I tried but it was a waste of time. Fortunately, I made the money I lost back very quickly and then some. I never gave up and quickly learned that my determination and arrogance are a powerful thing. All I know is that living off your credit cards is no fun and kind of depressing. I felt like a broke piece of shit then. I realize how fortunate I am now because I'll never worry about money again.

Anyway fuck Lehman Brothers and that crooked bankrupt firm, with what Creed posted, a lot of these numbers are fucked up because I see it with my own eyes damn near every single day at my firm. There is a difference for everyone when it comes to employment. Just because you are employed does not mean your job is not shit. That goes for any race and especially for minorities. Trump's bullshit job stats about black people don't mean anything.

This. I personally feel we should hold all civil and elected servants at a higher standard.. but if we cannot.. .then we should at least hold them to the SAME standard that the rest of us have.



Just from a sexworkers position-- do you have any idea how many ladies in this industry are sexually assaulted by police officers? Its staggering... and the conviction rate is nightmarishly low.

I believe a judge must approve a no knock warrant and while sometimes things go wrong they exist for a reason. However, just like mail in ballots, sometimes shit doesn't work perfectly in real life.

Well, what if different people are making the conflicting claims?

In the case of Asian people, the data indicate they are the best educated and highest paid of any ethnic group in America.

Even in the case of the commercial sex industry they work harder than the average American hooker, and likely make more money. It will be amusing when we finally pay reparations (which I completely support in exchange for stopping all this other bullshit affirmative action/diversity) that the Asians will make a significant contribution via their taxes.
