You're right.
The trumpys will still be around in 4 years and trump thinks he can get elected again.

trump and his base think that.

I don't think he has a snowball's chance in hell.

You see? This is why I only put racist dickheads, illegible assholes, and sensitive pussy robots on ignore. You know who you are.

He would see that every single response did not say "Yep!" I don't have him on ignore. His writing us just a notch above the corny banned sailor.

And it was about seditionists.

You dumbass! (As long as I'm on ignore, right?)

The media is supposed to report.

The people (the republicans)who made the allegations should show their evidence of vote fraud.

If I accuse you of a crime, why would you expect the media to respond? Why wouldn't you ask me for proof?

The spike is well documented. Look it up.

That's definitely a higher probability than I would give him. That sorry fucker is done in politics.

He should have listened to people and not had them quit or fire them if he disagreed with them. He is the most inept president by far I've experienced during my lifetime and it's not even close.

He brags that he is not a politician. That's cool. Don't get into politics then you dumb fuck. That's like me saying I'm not a florist and I am trying to sell you flowers at my shop. That makes no fucking sense. Trump lovers are mostly idiots though so they would probably buy my shitty flowers. I'd just bullshit them and they would believe those fucked up looking dead flowers are awesome.

So are you stupid, ignorant, or just a liar?

We know you regularly use false equivalencies and that you frequently lie.

I suggested that ECCIE, a private company, ban all seditionists.
I can understand why you saw "conservatives" and "republicans" when I used the word "seditionist". You're not too smart and it looks to you they are the same.
But they aren't.
And sedition is a felony in certain instances in the US.
You feel criminal activity (sedition) is an idea I'm trying to suppress and that you have the right to express it.
Check with ECCIE. Check your PMs.

How typical. You agree to TOS and then try to break them.

But we need to get something straight. You have no first amendment rights on ECCIE. Or twitter. Or facebook. Or any other private social media.
The platform determines what is acceptable (as described in the TOS).
I think your estimate of 73 million people who think they have a right to post on social media while usurping control of someone's private company is too high.

Everyone who voted for trump can't be that stupid or uninformed.

This is an attempt to unite the nation? No. This is the action of a private company not letting a bunch of assholes to hijack their company. You want to use Apple products? Then you play by their rules.
Or play somewhere else.

And where did you come up with the idea that its Apple's job to repair the damage trump has done over the last 4 years?
It looks to me like the powers that be, are trying to divide us even more.

I see Muncie tried to do the same thing here, asking this board to stop accepting an ideas different from his. What would be the purpose of coming here if the only people allowed to post had to agree with each and every other person allowed to post? I imagine it would be something like this.[/B]You can't see shit. You said this, not me. So you're lying again.

Muncie starts a thread that says if you are a Republican, Conservative, you shouldn't be allowed live. And every single response is Yep!, Yep, I agree, Yep, I agree, Yep, I'm with you."you shouldn't be allowed live"? What the fuck does that mean?
Thanks for the proof you can't come close to winning a point without lying (and really not even then).

What would be the point of that? What happens if you take away the right of 73 million people to air their views and their grievances? We'll have to wait for 73 million people to lose their right to find out.
No matter how many times you claim the TOS (that everyone signs) removes people's rights, it will always false. No one is obligated to provide a forum for trumpys.
Too bad they didn't go to college. They could have started their own forum and made a shitload of cash.
I can't imagine it will be anything good but hey, when you straight White people find yourself being isolated........when you find your society telling you, you must accept boys, who think they are girls in competitions once reserved for girls not because they were discriminatory but because of the physical, chemical difference between males and females or the day you find that you have lost your job because you kept forgetting what the fluid kids pronoun of the day is.

Careful what you wish for.
So you're back to babbling, lying, and misrepresenting. Okay, so you never left. All covered in a slimy coat of trumpism.

Unfortunately, your understanding of sedition is off the mark. Would you care to tell us what you think it means?

The legal history of sedition cases in the US is pretty much that there is no such thing - unless it involves violence and then it probably better to call it insurrection or incitement to riot.

The problem for sedition accusations is that the First Amendment protects speech that calls for the overthrow of government. If that wasn't so, think of how many communists and anarchists would be in jail right now.

First Amendment protections don't apply if a person advocates immediate violence. That's the difference between saying "The proletariat must violently overthrow the corrupt American capitalist government" (some day in the future) and inciting a mob to storm a government building by saying "kill the mayor/governor/judge" (right now).

I know your example says that platforms can throw anyone off because the First Amendment doesn't apply to them, but you are still going to have to define what sedition is and who makes that call.

Is sedition any opinion you don't like?

Will you apply it equally? The extreme left spent 4 years saying that Trump was not the President because of non-existent collusion with the Russians and demanding everyone #Resist. Were they engagement in sedition?

Or is it only right wing people who engage in sedition?

Since we are talking about free speech/sedition/lies/inciting riots, etc., all of which can overlap in many cases,

And since you are wisely asking for some definitions, I want to generalize the question a bit:
--Is the recent plot to abduct Gov Whitmer sedition? It clearly is kidnapping, and is clearly a violent act. Is it also seditious since she is the the head of the state gon't, and therefore an attack on the state gov't? Should that be condemned in equal or in harsher terms than the Capitol riot?
--Is the Maricopa Rep Party move to censure Cindy McCann a blatant anti-free speech move? It seems far worse than Twitter removing Trump's account since the reasons for the AZ Rep motion seem to have no basis in lies or inciting a riot, just that they don't like her opinions.

Curious to know how consistent people are about the 1st Amendment.

I think it was attempted kidnapping. Or a lesser crime, right? For the Governor's case. Thwarted before attempting. Either way, in my opinion, it's unpatriotic. Criminal.

Not familiar with the Cindy McCain move. Sounds like it was legal. If they can keep her quiet by law, not a first Amendment offense. Just my take.

Not sure why the Maricopa Rep. Party's act is brought up. They undoubtedly have freedom of speech and they are exercising it WRT Cindy McCann. And not liking her opinions is perfectly good grounds.

Back to sedition. A typical definition is "conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch". Notice that it does NOT require that the rebellion be a violent one or that it occur immediately and with violence. Merely advocating to get rid of the government is sedition. That is why it is a big First Amendment problem and why courts never enforce it.

Per wikipedia - Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or rebellion against, established authority. Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws. Seditious words in writing are seditious libel.

I trust you can see the problems with charges of sedition. A tyrannically inclined government can always figure out a way to accuse its opponents of sedition.
