Just because YOU don't care doesn't mean others don't.

I wouldn't be updating this unless people ASKED me to. It's easier to do it here and refer back than to individually answer all the pm's and emails I've gotten inquiring about the Pea's, and my, well-being. Plus, why should I take up space elsewhere, which would definitely draw ADDITIONAL attention, when this thread already exists? There are a lot more animal lovers on ECCIE than people think, probably too embarrassed to talk about it because their emotions regarding pets are derided.

And I will say it clearly: Sure, I refer to the "Save the Irish Chihuahua Fund," as I've facetiously been doing for YEARS, but NOT ONE person has taken that seriously, and I haven't received a single dollar from ANYONE for the Pea's bills or in any way related to this thread. Frankly, the gentlemen I've seen lately are coming from Eros and Backpage or are regulars. ECCIE just doesn't carry that much of a financial impact for some of us ladies. Furthermore, anything I received during my holiday "Creature Comforts" pet food drives went to the local animal shelter or AniMeals On Wheels program for seniors on limited incomes with dogs and cats. Perhaps this will generate publicity for those causes, and if so, f%$#@*& great!!! Another positive out of a negative situation, lemonade from lemons, bla, bla, bla.
