Thrak - I'm with u man. Seems digital is way to go. Grab beers, friends, and do my own midnight launches.

Jj - good to know about the non existent single player. Will look into it for an online game if it strikes me.

Playing Bioshock Infinite dlc this week. Buried @ Sea has not disappointed. Great to be back under the ocean. Bought tons of game over winter, finally making time.

What's everyone else into?

Default Next generation

We all asked the same question with the last gen, if they are really revolutionizing the era. Sure, they added movement with PS Move, Wii, and Kinect. Are they really giving us more with XBone, Ps4 and Win U? Or just a graphics overhaul. I'd like to think they would, but seems they are milking it this time. Thoughts?

Feel free to leave any gaming news, feedback or classic stories ...would love to hear from the community.

I'm looking forward to see how the Oculus Rift system will be utilized (I hope that Facebook doesn't squander it's future development).

It would be awesome to see it integrated in the new gaming console systems. I've seen demos of people playing Skyrim on PC. Can you imagine playing first person shooters where you often have to run and gun? Hook that up to a heart rate monitor and gamers may actually shed some pounds.

Funny, all these years and I have never gone to one. Always wanted to attend E3. Anyone else have any experiences at a convention like this?

My other way of unwinding after a long day of work is vegging out in front of my ps3
Call of Duty and grand theft auto are my addictions. God of war and assassins creed have all been fun too.

As for one of my last posts of the San Antonio event...apparently William Shatner and Norman Reedus will be there. Be cool to meet those guys. Sara Underwood is also going to be there.

On another gaming note...E3 is a month away. What is everyone got their eyes on this year?? Personally gonna have my eye on the Sony press conference.

I've got my Rift on order. Can't wait to try it out. Looks like there are some really cool games in the pipeline that are being designed with VR in mind.

To hold me over, I made a 3d printed set of goggles for my cellphone. Works pretty well and there are a decent number of apps out there that support it. Made watching a movie during my flight much cooler, though I got some strange looks from the other passengers.

I have been keeping up with this thread somewhat..... not a self proclaimed "gamer chick" by any means but, I do dabble. I am also a collector of consoles.......for gaming reasons and my never ending lust for electronics in a whole as well. I have an atari 2600 with several popular games, a ps4 (still learning my way around it), 2 ps3's, and Xbox (just an arcade). I would love to add many more to my collection including an original Sega Genesis and original playstation just to name a couple. One pc game I was really into when I was younger was myst I enjoy role play games never been a huge fan of first shooter or racing games at all.

Wow, I didn't think anyone still knew what an Atari and Genesis were. We should get together and play! We could also mess around with the gaming units, ha.

I'm into collecting older stuff as well, right now I am working on a complete Virtual Boy collection and will probably move on to Neo Geo AES after that.

Myst was the first pc game I played, this year is the 20th anniversary of its release and I am going to be streaming a full playthrough of it on my twitch.tv page (probably with lots of cursing as I'm not going to use guides lol). If anyone is interested in checking that out shoot me a pm, I stream lots of other stuff too.
