Johhnyvegas can spare me his bad faith. There are plenty of legitimate venues for charitable causes, and one thing children do not need are a hobbyiest using them to make themselves seem more respectable than they are.
And isn't there a rule on eccie against the mention of children? Now, if board owners do not want to enforce their rules concerning insult, harassment and smear, fine. And if board owners won't even enforce their rules concerning even outings - fine again. But at least let them enforce their rule regarding the mention of children on hobby boards.

2 3 Month VIP Card to Perfect 10

4 Hour with Miss Sophie Bella
5 Hour with MaddietheCoEd should donations exceed $750

8 Another Young Lady has requested that she be allowed to join Natalie Reign and the Lucky Gentleman on their 4 hour dinner date. I'm not allowed to disclose who. I will say this hot young spinner has nothing but praise heaped upon her over more than a dozen reviews but has never been reviewed in a Doubles Session yet! Now..... I'm sure Sixx will probably decline as the idea of more mouths sharing his home cooked meal will get in the way of his appetite.... But I would bet that NOONE will say No to this offer when they meet the young lady!
8 Prizes...
6 Winners...
(Disclaimer: Ladies Normal Screening requirements must be met. Ladies can't win themselves or other Ladies (My Party My Rules!) Winner need not be present to win! Any Prizes not claimed will be claimed by me or Ztonk for our personal pleasure! Like anyone isn't gonna claim their prize!)

Personally.....
I would rather everyone take the high road with the doubters and haters and simply ignore them....
Mix it up with them after the Holidays... Their attitudes will still be the same....

The only self-righteous ones here are those who point such intolerant fingers at me
Such cheap corruption of charity and of religion, by the very people who do most to give a bad name and reputation to the hobby...
True charity is quiet and expects nothing in return - especially not freebies from such uncharitable people as strip joint owners and providers...
Using charity as a marketing device is what this thread is all about.
BTW: how many of you guys have been ripped off at strip joints? How many of you have had to fend off con artists at strip joints? How many of you have been kicked out of strip joints because you had the naivete to complain to management about getting cheated by strippers? How many of you have had their lives torn apart because you let strippers into their lives?
And yet you plan on entrusting your charitable donations to people who promise strip joint advantages.
Such fools...

Good morning, boys. It looks like I have quite a bit of clarifying to do. I'll respond to these one at a time to make sure I cover all my bases.

Answering Sixx's question is certain a start....
cooking dinner may be beyond even her abilities! You shut your mouth when you're talkin' to me! I didn't spend $30K on culinary school and study in Europe for the stylish hats they made us wear.
I love me some CFS..... chicken fried steak that is! I sure hope you make some mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. What about dessert??? Nanner pudding?? Sixx, clearly you do not know that I grew up in the country and that I'm a CFS specialist. I can prepare it homestyle with the classic round steak cuts, or go a little more high class with tenderized filet mignon. Mashed potatoes can be done about 3,721 ways but that's the one dish of mine that's always requested at holiday gatherings. You forgot the gravy - always made in a well-seasoned cast iron skillet. I like my mac 'n cheese ultra cheesy and baked with a golden crust. And for the nana puddin', I need at least 48 hours notice to let the bananas and vanilla wafers to soften in the fridge.
But Soup and/or Salad is important as well....
Homemade soups and various types of salad are always options. We're talking a multi-course dinner here, lovers.
and during the movie? Is there popcorn? I've had this fantasy about the popcorn tub in my lap..... her hand in the popcorn... anyway... I'm sure you get the picture....
Gourmet popcorn, darling. Organic butter with your choice of sea salt and cracked pepper, Parmesan Peccorino or mixed pepper toppings. But if you're looking for me to forego the popcorn in favor of other snack items... I really, really like popcorn, Whispers.
There are other things I've wanted to try at the theater as well...
Are Sodas Refillable?
Good question. I rarely drink soda or other sugary libations, and don't usually keep it in the house. Please request your favorite soda or other beverage beforehand so that I can keep your glass full.
What about Hot Tamales and Raisinetts?
I'm offering deliciously prepared appetizers, dinner and dessert. And you want movie candy? Damn. Well, this is for charity... Your wish is my command.
Leftovers? Do I get to take them home?
Of course!
Is the time after the Movie MSOG? I shouldn't even have to justify this one with a response.
Will there be a snack? Snacks are definitely on the menu.
What do you wear when you cook? An apron. Whether that apron is covering a little black dress and pearls, lingerie or my birthday suit is up to you.
Will you feed me? Only if you promise not to bite my fingers, slobber excessively, or ask me to fly the spoon around in front of your face while making airplane noises.
I understand this is a lot to pack into a 4 hour date and if we need to look at reducing BCD time in order to get the meal properly served.....then maybe....during the movie..... maybe a little cuddling can make it's way in?.... Silly man. The movie is meant to be a vehicle for cuddling and transition into BCD time. When's the last time you asked a woman to come over and watch a movie, and actually watched the whole movie?
Does it have to be a sex movie? I mean.... Thats OK but there are some cool DVDs out .... Do you like Star wars? I have Netflix on Demand, and have a selection of sexy films to choose from. But you're also welcome to choose the flick. Star Wars is fine, but don't expect me to let you win if we play light-saber wars.
I haven't enjoyed a home cooked meal in a year! Now that is just unacceptable. Someone's SO needs to be spanked and sent to cooking school.
Oh Yeah.... Do I have to help with the dishes?
|
No. Don't even think about it. No one touches my cookware or my knives. They're... special.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright, let's try to give a few more details. (I should have known there would be a million questions here, huh? That's okay. I can handle it. )
Dinner & A Movie: Here's how it should go:
- You donate to the toy drive. You win the raffle. Yay, you!
- You contact me vie PM on ECCIE or through P411 to provide your screening info. I check your references. You are verfied. Yay, verification! (Whispers, what happens if the winner can't pass screening?
- You and I set a date and time for our dinner date. (About a week's notice is ideal. I will need at least 72 hours advance notice to plan, shop, do advance preparation and make the place perfect for you.)
- I send you a selection of menus to choose from, and you choose what you want for appetizers, dinner, dessert and drinks. Or, you can make special requests, such as "I really would love some CFS, mashed potatoes, mac 'n cheese and banana pudding" or "I really love crab. Can you make a crab appetizer of some sort?" if you'd like. If you have food allergies or special diet considerations, now is the time to let me know. All of my meats, seafood and produce will be organic, and local if possible. In the interest of full disclosure, I refuse to purchase or prepare foie gras or veal.
- We collaborate to choose the perfect movie.
- The day of our date, I give you directions, and you show up to enjoy appetizers and drinks while I finish preparing the meal.
- We enjoy a nice candlelit dinner, conversation and a film, and get to know each other better.
- You leave with leftovers, and you leave me the dishes.
- * And of course, there is another special surprise in the works...
Any questions, class?
Damn. I just realized how much blue font I have in this post. Whispers, what are you doing to me?!?

I already know where you're going with the charity angle, but who said anything about religion? Oh... you mean because this is a holiday/Christmas toy drive? And Christmas is a Christian holiday. Right. I forgot. Somewhere along the conversion of the Yule log and Christmas tree from pagan traditions to Christian traditions, and around the time Pope Julius I declared December 25 - the day of Babylon's traditional Feast of Isis, where pagans celebrated with gift-giving, huge feasts and crazy parties - as Christ's birthday, I got confused.

Ouch. Now that's just mean. And a false generalization, as well... but really, just mean.

You have the basic idea here, but it's a bit backwards. We're using free companionship to market the toy drive in a blatant attempt to garner more toy drive donations. Sneaky bastards, we are. The sneakiest one of all is the lady who anonymously donated the stockings and adopted an entire family for Christmas. She's really using this whole thing to her advantage.

Sounds like you had a very, very bad night in a strip club once. I'm sorry about that, honey.

I can understand the self righteous position that anything we as hobbyists do, should not directly be influencing or be brought into contact with the underage. However, I do not think that participation in a toy drive whose recipients will have no knowledge of our activities justifies the denunciation of those that do participate. Whether or not their is a raffle, I am going to participate. No matter that I participate in this hobby, I will still also donate to Brown or Blue Santa toy drives as well. I do not donate to these for acknowledgment of my generosity, but rather a true desire to help those less fortunate than myself.
If Hugh Hefner donates a (publicly or not) large sum of money to help others, is that gift tainted as well? I mean, he makes his money from the skin trade. Even though it is a 100% legal (Playboy Enterprises) operation, in some areas he is not welcome. So if the Salvation Army gives out toys to that area, and some of the money was donated by Hugh to the Salvation Army, is the toy tainted? Based on your reasoning, all providers should not buy any gifts for their children because they work in this hobby. How dare they provide such tainted gifts to children?
If people can make it fun to and exciting to be generous, in my opinion, GREAT!

@ jimmers.
I try so hard, but I simply can't understand how someone who participates in the hobby and is active on a hobby board feels compelled to speak negatively about other participants solely based on their presence here. Is this just self-loathing at its finest?

You're using the word involve pretty loosely here. What part of them getting toys for Christmas is obscene to you? They neither have to know who it's from or how it was gathered. They don't have to participate in any part of this other than to receive the gifts. Just because you can throw two words together in a sentence does not mean they are involved.

Says who, you? If publicizing a charity to inspire people who may not have thought to do it increases results without compromising values, then I would say your definition of charity is too narrow, and tailored to fit your point here.

I've heard that people sometimes do it in the car and public places, but those people probably aren't decent. You have a pretty puritanical view of what's decent, do you know what this board is about?
Quote:
but they never mention children & they never involve children.

How do you think those children come to being? You see, when a man and a woman love each other...or are drunk, the man puts his pen... screw it, nevermind.

You seem to think sex is dirty currency, and sex with provider even more so. Some of us don't make a distinction between sex and sex with a provider. Some of us see sex as a perfectly wholesome activity.
Do your kids know that daddy feeds them using the same money that he uses to trade for sex with hookers? Is that decent in your world?

People Come On! Good Grief!
Charity is for those who have the means (cash, material or service) to give from the heart. If a group of good hearted people (all the time or once a year, doesn't matter) try to make charitable giving FUN to INCREASE the totals being given.....that is GREAT! I know that I personally have raised what I was first going to give almost ten fold due to the fact some of these folks are getting into the spirit of making this FUN as well as CHARITABLE. It is a win/win situation for all involved (as long as everyone remembers to keep under control during the party part, lol). Please, let's keep this talk and banter on the subject helping those less fortunate than all of us. If you want to gripe about something use another thread to do it, if you do gripe then the rest of us should take the high road and ignore it.
Hope to see you there!

Back on point..this is a great idea, and trust me I have NO expectation of any kind of return, as far as I'm concerned, don't give me any raffle tickets for my donation, I really don't give a shit...
I always try and find way's to give back as I consider myself much more fortunate than most.. ANY way that can help people in need is a good thing, and I'm pretty sure that the people who benefit from the generosity shown here so far, don't really give a damn where it comes from...
If you don't think that this is a good idea then don't participate, but all I would say is, if you have enough to allow yourself to play here, then you are certainly better off than most..I would hope that you would do something..
Sorry, I'll get off my high horse now...

So, you have 21 reviews, but you find the idea of pay for play, even practiced between consenting adults who both feel like they are getting a great deal without coercion or oppression, so morally reprehensible that even remotely associating it with children by using it to generate donations offends you? Maybe you'd be happier taking up golf or something. You must live in agony. I say this without malice.

I have three thoughts.....
1) I work my ass off putting these things so why shouldn't I get a little benefit from it? Option#1 is that I serve as the alternate..... Since you and a few others actually know I CAN pass screening with all the required current references I am sure you will each automatically approve the guy that wins to avoid seeing me!
2) My little Elf Ztonk could stand in.... The problem there is that .... Each of you ladies would find something wrong with the winner and say he did not pass screening and Ztonk would get 4 or 5 sessions with 6 lovely ladies.....
or 3) We draw 4 alternates and in order they step up to claim a prize not claimable by another?
What makes the most sense.... I'm kinda leaning towards #1... It is my party after all!
But I'm still on the fence and open to suggestions
