Being juneteenth is now a national holiday. And june is gay rights month.

This is pretty WOKE!

not me for sure.

theres only one independence day.

independence day is july 4th.

June 19th as independence day is so misleading that much of the south wasn't free from slavery.

it wasn't even a state holiday for many years until 1980s.

I should point out that Juneteenth is misleading as alot of the south wasn't free from slavery unless it had federal troops in the area and the emancipation proclamation also didn't apply to slave states that remained in the union.

Texas was officially given State Hood in 1845 and the Emancipation Proclamation was in 1865 that's just twenty years. Iam willing to bet most of the Slaves that were in Texas weren't even African. Most of what we've been taught in school about Slavery is probably wrong.

Didn't Kamala or AOC (I can't remember which, they both occupy the same "idiot political whore" address in my head) announce that June was now some other POC History Month and forget that the gays own June.

btw, do y'all know why Pride is in June?

Pride cometh before the Fall

One would think, if one actually thinks, that celebrating a day set aside to honor Black people would have been a priority over killing jobs on a pipeline that saves millions of Black people on their gasoline costs.

But apparently the CommunistSocialistLiberalAntiT rumpers had more important things to do in the past several months....as far as they were concerned. Did Kumola forget she is supposed to be Black?

Yes ....

...Astros tromped the White Socks' "Best Pitcher in the World"!

Final of four today after three by the Astros.

Note: On Friday it was a Black Giant Astro who hit the win!

What leads you to that conclusion?

Certainly there are enough historical accounts to prove you right.

Please quote those that support your “theory.”

Thank you in advance.

On that we agree. GO. ASTROS!!!

Black Giant Astro? Couple days before that it was a Brown Midget Astro. What’s your point?

One was a Commie the other a Socialist. Still turgid?

You kiss the point. This isn’t about black people about commemorating the end of slavery in the US.

My people have more than a day to commemorate the end of slavery, We celebrate for a full week. Called Passover.

Unfortunately the white supremacy and anger is so thick on this board that you are never able to put things in context. Makes a fella wonder if you really want to.

Hope y’all are enjoying your Pride Month!
