A person does not have to hold a union card in order to sabotage a work place. All is takes is one or more disgruntled employees, whether they are union members or not!

You are ALL missing something.

If the alleged acts had not in fact been committed, the union would already have filed one hell of a slander or libel suit against the company and its management, or, at the VERY least, said, in public, on the record, "Show us the proof or it didn't happen."

An honest union, faced with a claim against its members on something like this, would be saying "We need the details so we can investigate it. If this happened, we WILL take appropriate disciplinary action against the members in question."

That neither of the above appears to be happening I find telling.

I don't think it was union sanctioned, and I don't think all the union members were involved. There should be an investigation, and I suspect that it will show that some of the more militant and ignorant members of the union perpetrated this.
