bullshit. i wouldn't use ducking jury duty to not vote. i've been called 4 times over the last 20 years for jury duty and every time when they would call for batches of people to go back for the selection process never got called. get there at 8 am and by noon every time the bailiff comes out and says "we have everyone we need, you can go"


4 times in 20 years.

Happened to me like that like 20 years ago, but the last 2 times they gave me a number to call the night before. Fortunately, it said don’t come in both times. It saves a trip downtown, but still fucks with your schedule for the next day since you don’t know wether or not you’re gonna have to go.
