Dreams do come true... all one has to do is allow it to happen. If fear runs my world, then never will a dream be fullfilled. If I am fearful of being hurt, her cheating, my wondering, or anything else, the dream will fail. If I decide to work at the relationship I believe there is nothing that cannot be overcome. It takes honesty, open mindedness , and the ability to realize I nor she is a perfect creature. As long as I keep the avenues of communication open and I am honest with myself and her.... Yes dreams do come true. Follow your heart and you may expereince GREAT Joy!! Follow your fears and you are doomed to misery, simple.

Outdoorsman, your right you can not let your irrational fears dictate your actions.

But at the same time, dreaming is fine and dandy. But at some point, we all need to stop dreaming and wake the heck up and make our dreams happen by our own actions. As well as a healthy dose of reality, being sometimes things are a lot tougher than having all those good vibes, and simply can't be change, but instead adapted to or released

I'm not saying you advocate just dreaming...not at all. But I had to throw my 2 cents in there, just to add on to your thoughts

I agree vk, a dream without any action is simply a dream, it is up to each individual to fulfill their own dreams instead of waiting for it to miraculously happen to them. No need to wake up though, perception is the key IMHO. I cannot change facts, but I can change how I percieve things and that perception along with a dream can and does create Great Joy, for me.

There is not a better feeling or sense of accomplishment when Iwork hard and the dividends pay off, or when I fall in love and dream of the white picket fence and she responds. I cannot make her love me, I am not that powerful, but I can change my perception of her once I realize the facts that she will not love me the way I want and need to be loved. But it does not kill the dream of attaining that career goal or having that one special lady in my life, it just might not be her, that's all.

I would not consider falling for a client a dream come true lol. Dreams in RL come true with hard work, dedication, and not making excuses. Dreams of love...well that's something that either happens or does not.

You can't wish it into reality, nor can you make someone else feel something for you. I know people in their 60s who have never been married, and it's not forcing them to slit their wrists.

I know other people who immediately run to the next guy or girl as soon as they break up with an SO. Some people need another person to make them happy, and others are happy no matter what the circumstances around them dictate. If you're not happy and secure within yourself, it's very hard to find someone else to love you. You attract what you put out.

Your mind is a very powerful tool in accomplishing what you want out of life. Most every battle we win or lose started with a thought that was placed in our mind. We either chose to believe the negative ones or the positive ones, and our actions were a result of our thinking.
