To me, simply saying it was legit and telling everyone else to shut up is not very assuring, especially when there are groups of people very passionate about their belief that it was not legit.

If a significant percentage of people actually believe the election was fraudulent, the media has some responsibility to at least attempt to assure them that it wasn't in a legitimate way.

The republicans have shunned their responsibilities.
They won't admit they lied about the allegations and they won't show evidence the allegations are true.
