Actually, many of the ladies who have the policy state it is an issue of SAFETY. Maybe they are making an excuse and for them, it really is about preference -- I don't know, I'm not a mind reader. I can only speak to what women actually SAY.

I never said women should HAVE to see anyone. It's obviously their choice. All I'm saying is that the ones who have NBA policies for safety could probably find a more reasonable way of playing safer, like, I dunno, checking REFERENCES.

But since you brought up the issue of preference, I always find it amusing that so many women seem not to prefer AA men. Black men and men under 30 seem to be the most frequent groups that ladies won't see due to a "personal preference". "I'm just not attracted to black men", these ladies may claim, yet somehow they have no problem with balding, pudgy, pasty white guys who are old enough to be their grandfather? I'm sorry -- I find that a little hard to swallow. If a lady wants to treat her business like a dating service, picking only the guys she's most attracted to and shunning all others that's totally her prerogative. Her body, her choice. I have never and will never say anything to the contrary. But yeah, I find it pretty silly that a girl won't let a respectful, educated, attractive, polite black man with cash in the door when I know what other men are out there in the hobby pool.

I have had a great time with men of all races, ages, cultures, etc. Screening is a more effective way to weed out the jerks than simple restrictions on race or age. That's all I'm trying to say.

I said it in another thread. We all seem to have selective things we get offended over. We do not get offended with a Black Beauty Pageant. Why is that? WTF is wrong with us as a society where we do not respect other right to be ignorant. At no point should one ever be made to feel that they should do something that they are not comfortable with.

Why don't people that get offended with this type of thing look a little deeper. I know waitress that hate to wait on blacks because they do not tip worth a fuc in general. That is a $$$$ preference. Has nothing to do with race. If your race is stiffing waitress and making it look bad for you....Why the fuc would you blame the waitress? Read the first chapter in the new SuperFreakonomics book. It breaks down what white and black johns pay and how they negotiate. This in turn makes it where the ladies approach different races, uh differently.

Or continue to keep your head buried in the sand and rattle off the PC thing to say. The problem will always be addressed but never solved with that approach.

I am for looking at this NBA policy problem.....and the way I see it , is that as long as we continue to blame the ladies for what appears a certain groups lack of respect to these ladies in so much as they short them on transaction. Get on to your brother in arms for being so god damn cheap. I promise that NBA situtation would clear up.
