Eh, existence of a good/bad review is in the open. As long as he did not relay ROS information, I don't see a problem. Let's face it, she would have seen the review and the responses.
AKB has stated that he disclosed no ROS, unless anyone has proof that he did, we're being a bit harsh on him.

That's what makes the notion of warning her so absurd.

She doesn't have much of a board presence. So it wouldn't be too far fetched to assume that someone would have had to tell her about it. He was just the first one.

What is so absurd? Karlie is my ATF. Is it absurd that we happened to be conversing that morning about other things? How many of you log in at a certain time each day to check your favorite forums? So why is it so absurd that we might talk about the existence of a review, good or bad that just got posted that morning? I am perfectly comfortable with knowing that I did not violate anyone's confidence or break any board rules by disclosing specific contents of ROS, PM's or Private Tagged comments to Karlie or anyone else. Those of you that know me personally would know that I am good for my words. I did not dispute the review, but did simply and briefly recount my own personal first hand experience with Karlie.
With respect to any possible violation of board rules and rules or not, breach in client confidence, that is something that she will need to resolve. What I do find absurd is that the people that have no idea what she is about, and perhaps could not afford her rates, and providers who wish they could be charging what Karlie charges, or the guys that can't seem to be able to schedule with her because of their own tarnished reputation start bashing her for her rates, service (which they have no idea about) and attitude.
So, I am not shy to stand up and say that I don't agree with how Karlie went about trying to resolve this, but I do believe it was a heat of moment reaction. As for me, I have not done anything wrong, and I am not ashamed to stand up for my ATF, and I would do it again.
And that guys, is how you get to have "soup".

That you somehow think it's your business to warn her. If I walk into a favorite retail establishment or restaurant that recently received a bad review online, I can't imagine taking it upon myself to warn them. It's not my business. The only possible reason to bring it up is to gain favor and I'm not looking to gain favor in that way.

She did far more to hurt her own reputation than his. I'm not saying what he did was right, but I am saying what she did was wrong.

The guideline in question is this one:
#9 - No form of private communications between members are to be posted in our forums. This includes the contents of emails, PMs, IMs, private chat logs, privately shared images, etc. This is an invasion of another's privacy and will not be allowed
The PM quote was removed and the member was dealt with accordingly.
This guideline was also considered:
#5 - Outing or threats of outing are taken seriously. Membership here is anonymous and for the privacy of our members it will remain that way. That means any effort or attempt to connect a person's real world information to their username on this board will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. This includes real names, employment, medical info, addresses past or present, images, criminal or driving record, etc. We expect everyone who participates here to respect and go to great lengths to protect the anonymity and privacy of one another. Reckless disregard or accidental outing will also be taken very seriously
I could not find anything that she posted that violated this guideline. Most of what she said might apply to many members here and were pretty general so I could not see that this line was crossed.

Guys: you don't see a prostitute for counseling and to talk about all of ur personal issues. They may end up on the Internet for all the world to see!
Still no ban??
|
The thought that she deserves to be banned is a bit much. First, to be banned with no warnings or points prior, you have to commit a pretty grave offense. I have seen more than one member post private communications and most of them are still around. Staff does not go around looking for reasons to ban members. Quite the contrary, we try very hard to not ban members. I have been a Mod for over a year and I have issued 2 bans in that time (one to our friend Humpty).
Do I believe what she did by starting this thread was ill advised? Absolutely. Did she violate one of our guidelines? Absolutely. Should she be banned? I think that the Staff's actions speak for themselves.

What if the cook is your best friend? Or if you see that a car ran through a mud puddle and things were flying at your friend or family, you would not at least yell "watch out!"?
What is so difficult to understand? I like this girl! She is not someone I just tried out for a half an hour appointment. I told you, read my lips...she is my ATF. So why isn't it my business to tell her there is a negative (or even a very good) review about her? OK enough. All I can say is, I am glad you and I are not friends.
@Space... X2, thanks. You said it very eloquently and factually.

Kboy, there is nothing wrong with telling her at all. I bet more here do the same thing, but wouldn't care to admit it. Stick to your guns like the class guy you are!!

AKB:
I'm a fan of your posts and general diplomacy on the boards. I met Karlie in 2009 when we exchanged a few communications and I have always held her in the highest regard with her communications and inquisition about seeing prospective clients....of course, until her poor move to out personal/unecessary information to save face. I was very shocked by this! Let's assume she provided a stellar service and he still gave her a poor review, as a HDH and courtesan, it is not lady like to take a cheap/below-the-belt shot to save face. A true lady would have apologized for not meeting his expectations and then found a sound resolution to remedy the matter.
I'm not perfect by any means, but if a client is paying me 1k, you can bet I will probably throw in an extra hour on me, encourage multiple play and purchase a bottle of Dom as a token of my appreciation! And no, I'm not jealous of Karlie by any means. She's cute, but not my type. I'm know for a fact that I'm not her type either since she insulted practically every girl with fake boobs (including me) in a thread months ago. Thought that was classless and rude and I suppose I should probably bite my tongue about how I truly feel about her looks. I'm am including a link of what I prefer and she is only $200/hr (she's legit): http://kc.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts...nde-22/6180429
I guess since I'm about $300/hr in SA, I'm am inferior to Karlie? Same with the drop dead gorgeous provider in Kansas With Playboy model looks? Here is her link again - damn she's hot!! Cant wait to meet her!!! http://kc.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts...nde-22/6180429
Again, this is a business and at $300/hr or $1,000/a few hours, I'm so grateful for the business. I really adore all of my current and past clients (even those who do not care for me). I think Karlie is strong and a heartfelt apology to tone may be in order! I apologize for the mispells...I'm writing this on my lunch period on my smart phone.
Respectfully,
A

LOL I agree! But that doesn't stop them from opening up to me with their problems of marital distress and lonelyness. They shouldn't be doing that, but I treat them like a friend. With kindness and compassions. Hell, I even had clients email me (after the APPOINTMENT ended) and asked my opinion on various relationship issues! I do what I can. People are human and should be treated as such.
Now, what about the clients who want to pick at your brains and try and figure out why a nice girl like you is an escort?? Oh I hate those!!! I get that from time to time. I once had a man sit there and try to figure out a plan for the rest of my life. He asked me my interests, work experience, education factors, etc. It was enlightening, but I couldn't help but think it was wrong. Where the hell do I find these people? I've always been a weido magnet.
