Crony capitalism is NOT the same as fascism. It is silly to use the terms interchangeably. Solyndra is an example of crony capitalism. Hitler's Germany and Mussolini's Italy are examples of fascism. The US is obviously not a "fascist" state since power is not wielded by a single right-wing party that ruthlessly suppresses all speech, individual rights and political opposition.
Why do I even have to explain this?

Your greater argument being that any political race involving Hildabeast will be fraught with voter fraud? That's guaranteed, Zany!

No system works well with a bunch of crooks.
Capitalism requires honest and ethical people, long term thinking, hard work, accumulation of capital, and fair exchange values. It can be compromised by excessive government intervention, cronyism, and special interest groups, and ethnic favoritism. It should have a minor safety net.
We should specifically limit immigration to rich people who are young and healthy, who pay us 250 thousand dollars each and provide their own insurance and pledge not to use welfare for 20 years, and have clean criminal records and no psychological abnormalities.
If we get the right people in the system, it will thrive. If you are a true capitalist, and the government doesn't excessively interfere, then the best men and women will thrive. If it turns out Mexican women run all the Fortune 500 companies and they do they best job, and they were freely chosen by the managers and stockholders, I would be OK with that, as long as if white men were the best choice for every position, then they would get chosen to do the job.
Affirmative action advocates are losers who do not understand capitalism, nor do they support free competition and its consequences, except for sports teams.

There really is no substantive difference between crony capitalism and fascism. It may be simply a master of degree. But to call our economic system capitalism is inaccurate. It's not. It's been bastardized by dishonest lawyers, corrupt politicians, and amoral corporations.
Don't try to explain until you understand.

You're so naive till it ain't even funny. It's not really free competition it's market manipulation cloaked under the guise of free markets and competition. Since we can't read people's hearts but can perceive their intentions based on history I hope you feel the same way about legacy based admissions that you do about affirmative action. Nothing dumbs down education or capitalism in this country more than legacy based admission. In other words because daddy is rich and gives donations you get to stay whereas if you're affirmative action and don't cut the mustard you're out.
It would serve you well to concede this argument to me ;-)

Zanziboy, what a letdown! The libtards were rooting for you to come in and add some intellectual heft to their flagging comments on this hooker board, and all you can come up with is “Corporate Fascism”? What the fuck is that? Oh, I get it. That's the only thing keeping you and 90% of Americans from being wealthy, right? Sorry zanziboy, but we're talking about the real world now, so leave the dorm room behind. You need to go out and read a dozen books on Corporate Governance, then come back and see if you can talk intelligently on the subject. Learn about the real world of boards of directors, bye-laws, shareholder resolutions and votes. While corporate governance at most US publicly owned companies is far from perfect, it is a lot closer to democracy than to fascism.
.
Another letdown, zanziboy... So sad to see you don't even know how to google the answer. Here's a hint for you – try looking up the Tax Reform Act of 1986.
You're losing us, zanziboy... What is “rouge executive pay”? Executive pay in Baton Rouge? Executive pay in red states? You mention it as an “example of my Corporate fascist argument”. What Corporate fascist argument? You haven't even defined Corporate Fascism, let alone set forth an argument...
If you think executive pay is excessive, here's what you should do about it: 1) Remember you are fortunate enough to live in a free country. 2) Go out and buy one share of stock in each company you think is over-paying its officers. 3) Become a shareholder activist. Look up the biggest owners of company stock and lobby them to vote in favor of executive pay limits at the annual shareholder meetings. This is where your study of Corporate Governance will pay off. It is not in the best interests of shareholders to overpay their executives. You will be more effective by taking this route than if you sit back and stupidly rail against some imaginary Corporate Fascism.

That's all you got? Name calling? Ah, zanziboy, you are SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT... Where's the intellectual firepower that the libtards on this board are so desperately looking for you to provide???
Don't call me ridiculous - cough up some barbed counter-arguments that make me look ridiculous...
Don't call me lame - make my viewpoints look lame with a hard-headed critique...
Don't call me inaccurate - expose me as such with carefully researched facts... oh wait, I forgot - you don't even know how to google something as straightforward as tax reform, do you?
It's sad that you prefer to close your eyes to the real world and dwell in an imaginary one where all corporations are run by evil fascists. Some of the libtards here thought you had potential, zanziboy, and you are letting them down big-time. But it's your life, kiddo. If you prefer to waste it defecating in Zuccotti Park instead of doing anything constructive with it, nobody is going to stop you.

Your emotional outbursts and rants are becoming legendary. Nothing you've said pose a legit threat or argument to anything I've posted. Next rant please ;-)

Read the post again, zanziboy. The only emotion I expressed was sadness at your stunted intellectual development. Now run along and read those books on Corporate Governance. Don't come back until you've learned enough about the real world to converse intelligently here...

Ok COG, I'm all ears... Solyndra was the poster boy for crony capitalism. It was also a big scandal and a huge waste of taxpayer money. Now explain WTF did it have in common with Hitler, Mussolini or fascism?

Try to find any instance where I'm in favor of legacy based admissions as smart policy. Just because I don't support it, doesn't mean I oppose the right of a private institution to let in the dumbshit kids of some rich guy, if he wants to fork over to them a boatload of money. I don't think the fucking government should intervene in that case, nor should the government require quotas under the guise of "diversity".
BTW, the Harlem Globetrotters appear to have a legacy of black men as their principle court performers. The occasional woman or white guy doesn't amount to more than tokenism, and it should be stopped - don't you agree? Half that fucking team should be women, and if you don't do yourself a favor and agree with me, I will accuse you of being a misogynistic commie.

An all woman ticket. That's too potent for the Republicans to overcome. Hilary wins 2 terms easily.

I think she should pick Gabby Giffords.

Hate to sound condescending but you guys give pretty shitty examples to prove a point. Lol. The govt should step in to ensure fairness otherwise fairness won't be given. You cannot let the inmates run the asylum. Conceptually it's the same argument you're making against the govnt. Govnt. holds Corporate fascists accountable whereas "We The People" hold the govnt. accountable. All you're doing is being purposely obtuse by implying that qualified minorities will be given opportunities if there's no oversight. You've got to be one dumb somebody to believe that. Additionally, if not for the Left you'd have no 40 hr work week, no FMLA if your wife got preggo, no weekends off, no Workman's Comp, etc. etc.
People like you and the others in this thread that oppose my view are nothing but a means to an end for Corp Republicans and the top 10%. If you win the lottery or inherit money due to a death in the family they'll welcome you to their ranks but they'll see to it that you don't get there through hard work.
BTW Larry Bird was one of the greatest ever and in my top 4 all-time. ;-)
