I detest talking on the phone. Texting is much more convenient and makes me feel much more at ease. I only do voice calls with well known providers and only if they absolutely require it.

I generally prefer to make initial contact on P411 with follow up via text until the actual meeting.

One well known provider in Austin actually requires FACETIME! Hell no!

I find texting cumbersome as my hobby phone is a pre paid flip phone. I find myself using cringy abbreviations (u for you, 2nite for tonight) so that is doesn't take 10 minutes to ask if a lady is available. But if a lady wants to translate my fat fingered gibberish, so be it.
