This is white privilege in a nut shell:

In the 1980's, the you know what epidemic hit the minorities and especially the low socio-economic communities of African Americans. The answer to this was Reagan, Bush and Clinton saying to get harsh on crime, 3 strikes rule and to empower law enforcement agencies with incentives for busts, monetary budgets and so forth.

Today in 2018, we have the opioid epidemic which affects mostly whites. What do we do: give out aide, access to clinics, compassion.

Look at Demi Lovato v Whitney Houston.

I'm at the point where I can say as a young educated black male that I'm more afraid of those that say, "I dont see color," versus Klan and outward bigots. The reason is you know were Klan and bigots stand for at the end of the day. Those that don't see color #1 neglect differences and more importantly #2 often are those in power positions such as hiring managers, banking institutions, judges, jury members, police, medical and etc.

No one is saying you or any white person doesn't have to work hard to be successful, just that it's easier. Refusing to acknowledge that racism and slavery in America affects people of color today negatively and therefore provides an advantage to white people is simply wrong. Saying "no one alive was a slave" is idiocy: the foundation of generational wealth in America is the primary home. Guess what happened when the "greatest generation" came home? White veterans got subsidized housing - black veterans did not.

Intereeting that you believe this for some athletes still go out to other countries and help out whether by donations, supplies, charity work etc.
