Oh I think Michigan and Wisconsin are going back to Trump in 2020. Up in the air still with PA but it's not leaning towards him now.

The VOTERS in all states vote for the candidate of their choice and the candidate with the most VOTES wins ALL the electoral votes for that state. Popular vote still counts. Electoral votes are a factor of popular votes.

I would certainly expect you to believe that ALL 50 states will vote for Trump. Pollyanna. Unfortunately you have nothing to base your opinion on other than your feelings. Right now Trump's net approval in Michigan and Wisconsin is -12, -6 in Pennsylvania. -7 in Arizona, another state he won in 2016 but is turning blue. So I don't know how you can say those states are "leaning" toward Trump.

Speedracer,

I'm not a Pollyanna although, there is nothing wrong with that. Ok so I see a few things that is going to horrify the general electorate:

1.) The socialist progressives - they scare the crap out of middle America.
2.) Late term abortion - this is gonna sway the black and hispanic vote to Trump.
3.) Those anti vaxxers - it's a left issue and with the measles outbreak - parents will be swayed to Trump.

Of course, we are still early in the campaign but all the R's have to do is show a pic of Alexandra and they will be running to the polls.

As you have said --- we shall see.

Again, for the Democrat to win in 2020 he/she does not rely on the middle America states. Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are not middle America. The states that voted for Hillary Clinton are not middle American. Trump already has the middle America states in his pocket as he did in 2016.

Not sure why you think black voters will be moved by the late term abortion issue.

Anti-vaxxers? Do you really think that is going to be an issue to many voters when they head to the polls in 2020?

The 3 major issues important to voters continue to be healthcare, immigration and the economy. Trump is doing fine with the economy. Nothing yet on immigration but hopes are he will have some success in this area. Absolutely no progress on healthcare issues.

1. yes but middle America already is voting for the orangutan

Hey, no wonder Trump knew how to win - he knows real estate!! I just thought of that.

Yes, I do. There is a public health emergency that was issued in Washington State due to the measles outbreak. It's been on the news weekly and parents are very, and I mean very angry. And angry voters are motivated voters.

The 3 major issues important to voters continue to be healthcare, immigration and the economy. Trump is doing fine with the economy. Nothing yet on immigration but hopes are he will have some success in this area. Absolutely no progress on healthcare issues.
Yes, they are. The things I've mentioned are just things I noticed and yes, felt too.

Here you go midget...

10 states with the highest rate of poverty

https://www.fcnl.org/updates/top-10-...n-the-u-s-1630

Am I saying that all blue states are living in the "Lap of Luxury"? No of course not. Every state has it's economic issues. All I'm saying is that it's funny to me that the richest states in the Union are mostly all Blue and the poorest ones are almost all red. You take Texas out of the equation and the red states have shit. But keep telling yourself otherwise Midget.
