I went fishing Saturday, and after I had reeled in a couple of fish I realized that Dimocrats are a lot like fish. Like fish, Dims are always falling for the false lures, like those cast out by the pretentiously-elite, limousine liberals. Like fish, once they are hooked you can just string them along. Like fish, Dims don't know they are all wet. Like fish, Dims swim in and drink the same water they pee and shit in, and they've done so for so long that they can no longer tell the difference. Furthermore, Dims are like fish because when they are exposed to fresh air and sunlight, they stink - talk about 'spoils'.

...and Repube'licans are the typical fishermen who lie out of their ass about the amount of fish their pulling out of the water, then bribe a game warden to shut up, then continue to lie about the size of their catch and then create bullshit on top of bullshit to cover for it.

I pulled this image from Whirly's official Encyclopedia of facts. The title was "A typical Republican fishing":

I B, I see when you have no defense or valid argument, you resort to name calling and insults. One could hope when doing so you would at least use intelligent metaphors. Instead, you remind me of Incognito Isis.

Whirl, I'm still waiting for your reply.

For such a right-wing, anti-Obama, anti-socialism, seemingly teabagger, like yourself, why would you be using a London based, socialist daily, Morningstar.com, for your so-called information?

The same might be said of many of your fellow Dimocrats, but like I said, you can't see it because you are swimming in it. Plus, the topic had obviously deviated to “spoils”. I was merely commenting on things that spoil. Did you know Andy Jackson, the original Dimocrat, famously initiated the “Spoils System”? We must commend Ol' Obama for doing his best to uphold old, Dimocrat traditions. BTW, I read if I choose to read and quote from Pravda it shouldn't surprise you. Another point of trivia, Jackson also adopted the "jackass" as the symbol for the Dimocrats. How appropriate.

Report: Obama Administration Rewards Big Donors With Jobs

By JAKE TAPPER (@jaketapper)
June 15, 2011

President Obama launched his campaign in 2007 promising a change in the way business is done in Washington, D.C., but today a report from the Center for Public Integrity says that when it comes to major campaign donors scoring plum administration positions, it's business as usual.

The report says that 184 out of 556 2008 Obama campaign "bundlers," donors who agreed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for a campaign -- or their spouses -- joined the administration in some role.

But the percentages are much higher for the big-dollar bundlers. Nearly "80 percent of those who collected more than $500,000 for Obama took 'key administration posts,' as defined by the White House," the report said.

No, it doesn't surprise me. What does is people of intelligence steadfastly clinging to close minds on subjects, even when rational, fact based thoughts, though contrary to theirs, are presented in a peaceable manner. They, in turn, rather than ever conceding a point, or God forbid agreeing to one, respond with petty insults, name calling and unintelligent banter, which they find amusing.

I am not Dim, am not a jackass and do not wallow in spoils or excrement, regardless of your feeble attempt to paint me as such with your broad brush of ignorance, stupidity and poor humor. What intelligence you began with was over shadowed by that ignorance and I chose not to read further.

Hmmmmmm, let me see. As I recall the only "spoils" I ever received from the US Government was wayyyy back in the 1970's, when I recieved the following:

1) 6 weeks unemployment compensation immediately following my voluntary 4 year stint in the US Army.
2) Used the GI Bill to help pay for my college education. (I admit to having double-dipped by working a 40 hour week on nights and weekends and went to college during the day.)
3) And finally, in 1976 I bought my first home using a low interest, $1 down Veterans loan.

IB, since I was obviously on the government's dole while getting my life in order, does that make me a "Dimocrat?"

Shhhhh, don't tell anybody but I hope to one day soon begin collecting Social Security benefits! Thanks Dims for protecting SS!

You reading and quoting from Pravda is no surprise at all. It explains your lack of direct replies and your tendency to describe imaginary group behavior as that of individuals. It's OK. In the US, anecdotal stories are not mandatory. It may seem that way because of the company you keep. Many former Soviet citizens, especially ex-commissars such as yourself, resent the government for failing them. It shows up as projection here in the US.
So you are a Red in red party clothing. Whatever makes you comfortable.

Trivia question: Who recorded the song "3 Strange Days"?
answer: School of Fish

@ Surcher: Do you even know what you are talking about, or are you that extreme left that you consider Moringstar, a leading financial analysis group, a socialist daily.....Morningstar is about as mainstream financial reporting, consulting and analysis as it gets. Their mutual fund ratings are an industry standard. If Morningstar has any label it would be "capitalist" not "socialist:....the ignorance exhibited by many on the left in ECCIE is astounding. My reliance on Morningstar is alot more credible than the ad hominen attacks that define most of the left in this thread..........

"Morningstar.com offers individual investors an independent source for stock and mutual fund research, in depth analysis and reports, powerful portfolio tools, financial commentary, exclusive data, and advanced analytical tools. Morningstar.com is the one resource that really helps
investors make well informed financial decisions. Investors and the media acknowledge Morningstar.com as comprehensive, trustworthy, and easy to use. We are a 2004 Forbes Favorite, a Barron’s top site, Worth’s reader’s choice. They highly regard our analysts’ expertise as well as
our analysts frank and independent opinions on stocks and funds.
Morningstar.com’s content includes investment data, research and independent analysis, the well known mutual fund and stock ratings, and style boxes. New investors get started with educational articles while seasoned investors appreciate the depth of data, online portfolio tracking, and proprietary analytical tools. A full-time team of investment and web experts pack the site with a growing collection of daily editorials, real-time news, feature stories, and independent data that keeps investors on top of their stock and mutual fund investments..."

What is your basis for calling Morningstar a socialist daily?

Did you feel that the salary you received while in the army for those four years was proper compensation for the investment - e.g., in time, risks and loss of personal liberties - you made?

Classic! You've gone from labeling me a Tea Party reactionary to calling me a Communist bureaucrat. You and Sa_artman are in a class by yourselves, and no doubt, you got there on the short bus.

See what happens when I try to play at your fishing story level? You are much better than me at posting total bullshit.

2 awards in 2 days. Not bad.

I guess I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for you to show when and where I said you watch Colbert or called you a teabagger.

I fell into the classic rightwing trap.
You lie about something I said.
I can't prove I didn't say what you said I said.

And you won't prove I said what you say I said
