... Actually, Kamala is afraid to debate.

... Her FEAR is the Biggest Problem. ... She can't talk.
She was a joke as a VP - one of the WORST ever.

And she's a joke of a presidential candidate.

Kamala wants to debate with ABC running the show, Trump wants a debate with Fox running the show.

There has to be a middle ground.

CNN did a good job with the first one where Biden went brain dead. And they let him.So let CNN do it.

... The middle-ground has a rather simple solution.

First, the debate on Fox - then the debate on ABC.

Ah. The more y'all deny it the more you magnify the Melange one false hype. I feel like a Ferangi teaching logic to a Vulcan.
"Any time, any where" my ass.

donny agreed to have ABC run the show too. So convenient for y'all to forget that.

There is no middle ground. Just old business before new.

The "old" business that donny agreed to and now is running and hiding like a scared rabbit.
Tough guy my ass.

ABC News Candidate Qualification Requirements for the 2024 Election Presidential Debate Tuesday, Sept. 10
By Jim Donnelly
Jul 26th, 2024
ABC News candidate qualification requirements for the 2024 election presidential debate planned for Tuesday, Sept. 10, include the following:

All participants must meet the requirements outlined in Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution to serve as president and must have filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Election Commission. All participants must appear on a sufficient number of state ballots, as certified by the Secretary of State or the relevant election authority in each state, to attain a majority (270) of electoral votes in the presidential election by Sept. 3, 2024. All participants must agree to accept the rules and format of the debate, as formulated by ABC News.

All participants must reach at least 15% support in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet ABC News standards and the following additional requirements:

Polls must be conducted using probability sampling by one of the following entities or pairs of entities: ABC News, CNN, Fox News, NBC News, The New York Times/Siena College, Quinnipiac University, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.

The four qualifying polls must be conducted by different organizations.

Polls must be fielded and released between Aug. 1, 2024, and Sept. 3, 2024. Only polls released publicly and fielded entirely inside the window will qualify.

In the event that a poll provides results for both registered and likely voters, the likely voter result will be considered to be the qualifying result.

The determination on whether a candidate meets all the above requirements and is therefore eligible to participate in the debate will be made promptly after Sept. 3, 2024.

I got a better one for you..

Two moderators (1 from ABC; 1 from Fox) at a hotly contested swing state. Bring in factcheckers as well so that both Trump and Kamala get caught out if they lie.

One other thing.

Keep an eye out for Dr. Allan Lichtman. He's a professor at American University that has predicted correctly 9 out of 10 Presidental Elections. He's been on all major news networks from ABC, MSNBC and Fox.

His resounding success is the model designated by him and a fellow partner in 1981 consists of "13 keys" to the white house such as Incumbency.

He's going to make his prediction after the Democratic National Convention.

How does one “fact check” political ideology.

One Candidate, (Party), wants to take the Country down the road of a Socialist style of Government where a ruling class dictates the wants and needs of individual citizen, controlling their lives through government mandates and Bureaucratic regulations.

One Candidate wants to head America into the future by sticking with tried and true policies that have made America the greatest Country on Earth, based in a Constitution that guarantees freedom for all citizens to choose their own path toward life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Policies like Social Security, The GI Bill of Rights, Farm Subsidies. All policies that support conservative voters but designed and implemented by socialists.

All a disaster, and farm subsidies is really about keeping a food supply cheap. The only problem is that processing and transportation costs are about 80% of the food dollar so while supply might be there price doesn't change much with commodity pricing of raw food products.

Social Security would have been bankrupt in the 1960's but they forced more people in the system to pay taxes to keep it afloat. The biggest problem with Social Security is there is not an easy way to end it, even though the country would be better off without it.

It seems we’ve wandered off topic.

I don’t think Kamala Harris is necessarily “rebranding” but rather introducing her true self to the voters.

The persona you put out in a primary election is vastly different than the one you put out in a general election. In a primary election you have to appeal to the most ideological voters. Those members of the party that hold the most extreme views.

In a general election you are allowed to reveal the real you and hope that it’s more palatable than the other guy.

So far I haven’t seen anything that would keep me from voting for her.
