Who could have predicted this

Democrats loudly defund the police.
Crime spikes.
Innocent children die.
Democrats quietly admit they need more police.

Washington, DC mayor Muriel Bowser announces plans to add 170 police officers to the city's force and requests $11M more funding to recruit and train them amid massive rising violence in her city

This was after Last year the DEMOCRAT City Council voted to defund the police by $15 million

Woo Hoo. We have one great Governor showing how it is done. Ron DeSantis and Florida choose the FUND the police with extra bonuses unlike the Democrats who want to defund the police

More than 49,000 sworn law enforcement officers across the state of Florida will be receiving a $1,000 bonus, including the great men and women of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, for the hard work and dedication they’ve displayed in their communities.

Since the killing of George Floyd and the emergence of the “Defund the Police” movement, violence against law enforcement has increased.

Here are the names of all the police officers killed in the line of duty since May 25, 2020. RIP to these heroes.

I think stealing in general should be a much higher offense, than mere petty theft. These ppl are organized, and they take small amounts, but ALOT of small amounts that add up to huge losses. I would post armed guards vs. just letting ppl roll in and roll out with bags of loot. Fucking terrible blight. I'd love to say it was relegated to one group, or one party, but there are people who are assholes from all walks of life; police need to be empowered, but its' interesting that countries that dont' have guns don't have the same problem, or they aren't as bad. Do we let bad police who shoot or kill unarmed civilians keep on being a problem, or do we get some accountability and individual consequences for those who break laws, just like we do for the criminals out there. I'm all for justice....as long as it's fair on both sides.

NEW: Austin implemented one of the biggest police budget cuts. Their homicide rate soared over the next year, and today the surge is larger than most of the country. Now, voters will decide whether to boost the ranks of the police.
