Both the DNC and RNC were monumental screw ups in this election.

The DNC did their best to assure Hilary would get the nomination. They totally screwed over Bernie. They never anticipated the Bernie phenomenon. The DNC probably laughed their asses off when Bernie threw his hat in the ring. They actually thought Hillary was the best the Dems had. You gotta to be kidding.

The RNC was a joke from day one. They actually thought Jeb was electable. His own party didn't want him. Then they turned to Rubio LOL. Cruz is the definition of a snake oil salesman. The RNC completely lost control of the process and got stuck with Trump and only had themselves to blame.
