I had to recently take down my signature line because it was told to me that someone reported it to be a tad larger than the requirements.(perhaps a peeping Tom or nosey Rosey from Tx.) I don't know about all that stuff, sizes and measurements, ect. I just try to stay within the Eccie rules, however I always see other Signature lines that are just way over the top. Long and lots of wording. I never question those,(I don't really care) but just for asking sake can someone please explain to me why some people can have long lines and some can't.?? Maybe the new mod's can help me answer this question.

Unfortunately , right now I can't answer you but I will diligently attempt to find out.
I do know mine meets the requirements :-)
I would suggest you use the RTM and report one you might believe to be suspect ....

It's not really tit for tat....
It's more so I can have an example of the issue....
I read the rules and looked at SEVERAL sig lines but couldn't find any that appeared to be in violation.
Using the RTM is not a bad thing . It brings things to our attention that we may not notice. In most cases we don't sit and count lines on a signature to see if you're compliant. It's either reported or it had to be so obvious it jumps out at you .

#23 - Each member's signature line is an extension of their ability to express their personality to others online. We offer a relaxed and flexible set of guidelines for our members and staff to follow regarding maintenance of their signature area. In short, you are allowed 15 lines of text, space, and images. You may include colored text or larger font sizes, and you may include images that do not exceed 60 pixels in height. Limit font size to "5." Images or larger-than-default text will be counted as 3 of your 15 lines allowed, so please consider this when constructing your signature area. Can someone please post a random picture from anywhere that IS the right size. Forgive me for NOT knowing measures and weights..lol Then I will have an Idea. Do I need my reading glasses to see it?? I grew up in the "Show me state"...

When I was first coming in as a Mod, it was Big C who was my mentor. Things changed, as they always do, and soon it was Pornodave and Causeway Commuter. It was great working with those two! I thought we made a good team. The SoulmanIke came over to help some. I was sad with CC left as a Mod but Dave and I continued on with Wiley as the new new guy.
Now, Skeeter and Heatflash are the New Mods. I will be even sadder with Pornodave steps down, but I understand.
I have known Skeeter for a good while and love the guy. He will be good at this. I do not know Heatflash, but I have read his posts and reviews and this guy is well versed in what a good review should be. He will be a big asset to the hobbyists!
I hope to meet him one day (if he like old women) since I need another notch in my Mod belt! LOL
