Based on some of the Dems latest comments like Gov Cuomo, I'm not sure it's going beyond the inquiry that Pelosi dove preemptively into. They are beginning to see that the phone transcript doesn't show anything out of line and that the whistleblower information is potentially misrepresented and in many instances even incorrect.
Sure it'll be a big show again and lots of waving hands from the left during it like the Mueller report, but it's headed the same direction.
This is much of what McConnel is alluding to in not even going to trial. The evidence of wrong doing just doesn't hold up, but I will caveat that with a yet.
I've said all along throw Trump out if you can show an actual crime. To-date, it hasn't been there, and I really don't think this is it either.
