Sound statements to my ears. I hope to see more elderly politicians take inspiration from his move.

Thank you for carrying on sound discourse over hyperpartisan drivel in my absence.
His statements bear out a reality that most folks claim to want in their leaders. Folks who do the job and recognize when they've served and it's time to step away instead of clinging to power tying to run things as octogenarians. This is a self-imposed term limit.
The zealots will try to turn anything into part of their culture war, but we see through it.
