If that's not a sign of narcissism, then i'm wrong about this being an example of your narcissism. Otherwise, this is yet another sign of your narcissism.

And I challenged you in the past to point out an instance where I had manifested hypocrisy. Needless to say, you failed to do so!

Well, if you don't include those 4 or 5 instances i pointed out.

But you missed one key point. It wasn't my goal to point out how "awesome" one of my past posts was, you ignorant fool. Rather, it was simply to note that you have a habit of persisting with erroneous or illogical statements even after it's pointed out to you that you're making no sense. In that thread, and a similar one on the same subject and at the same time, you continually claimed that you had "debunked" my post -- even though it was obvious that you had no understanding of the issue under discussion!

Sorry, but I get a little irritated when repeatedly harrassed by some annoying asshole -- over a long period of time -- with charges of hypocrisy and narcissism. If you continue with that, don't be surprised if I make fun of your ignorance!

That's just about the only sensible thing that can be said at this juncture. Everyone who's been around for a few years remembers the race between George H. W. Bush and Michael Dukakis in 1988. At one point during the summer of that year, Dukakis was reported to have a 17-point lead. (You do remember President Dukakis, don't you?)

Most political observers now seem to think that Obama has a slight edge, but that the race is likely to be very close.

Of course, it all boils down to a few hundred thousand "undecided" voters in just a handful of states, and to how motivated the parties' bases are in those battleground states.

Votes cast by the great majority of Americans are completely meaningless to the result. Perhaps that's not the way it ought to be, but that's the way it is.

If you can dim your porch lights enough that they don't attract mosquitoes, that's a big plus in the Dallas area given all the recent West Nile virus cases.

There's a lot to be said for dim porch lights -- that is, if they're kind enough to shut up and not make any annoying noises!

Well, I always did enjoy the academic world. The only reason I'm not a university professor is that it occurred to me at around age 25 that a such a career wouldn't permit me to afford all the stuff I wanted. Unfortunately, Romney has to put on a show, to try and make people like him. That's traditional American politics. That's why politicians kiss babies, constantly smile and shake thousands of hands. Most voters are idiots; they vote based on who they like, as much as for policy. That's not Romney's fault.

I saw the Chris Wallace interview this morning too. I thought Romney came across like a good guy. I thought he made a good point that his money is managed by a blind trust that he doesn't control. He also pointed out that having money in a foreign bank doesn't give him any tax advantage; Obama is demogoging on that issue.
