I prebook with visiting providers and half of them cancel on me and don't even let me know they have cancelled. I suppose it's from no interest upon their announcement of coming. If I make an exact time, I don't cancel....and if I do I always let them know. I can only imagine the frustration among certain providers who have an investment in coming down and don't break even.

While I'm sure the lack of my experience with dating US ladies and my lack of trackable history has provided somewhat of a barrier; I haven't had good luck this entire week. Some contact information never provided a return call/text/pm, some only got a kick back but days later, very few actually responded. The first to respond got my attention and anyone afterwards got a polite response that I was being taken care of but if something went wrong, I'd get back with them. Well, I got stood up... First by being at least an hour late to tell me she would be late another hour, at least; by the time I got fed up, it was three hours after the agreed time. I went home and got ready for the bed, agrivated! So, few hours later the phone goes off with a text saying she was sorry and we could meet. I got up, redressed, drove my ass to the spot... She never showed, never texted... I wrote a long professional 'get it together' note that night... The next day, I get another 'I'm sorry and I'll make it up'. Well that never happened either. The following days was pretty much the same for others I contacted. Although, it has been mostly untimely return calls days later or none at all... At least I haven't been left in the parking lot for hours. Now I know it's not for everybody but when I say I'm going to contact you at a certain time or be at a certain place at a certain time; you bet your bottom I'm going to do all I can to make it happen or you will know, on a timely basis, why I'm not. However, different professions have different ethics on how one should behave... This is what I need to know: if I respond to an ad or a posting, how long should I wait before I should decide this person doesn't get my attention? If you respond and say you're busy today, that's great and I understand but if you say tomorrow, and we agree on a contact time; if you don't respond timely at that point, should you get my attention? And lastly, what kind of time frame is reasonable for you to verify who I am and that I'm safe, then actually set and confirm time and place, finally showing up? Thanks guys, I know I'm a little nerdy but I feel I would really do better if at least I understood what's expected... As a little final note, I did start the verification process at P411 as well as becoming a member here. I appreciate ya'lls input. James B

Waterloggedhead.....i have been saying that for years, it goes both ways, I have accepted that it is just part of the hobby for many providers, and I can see their side too. Just say she has an appt with you at 2:00 but I'm ready to see her right now and the time is 1:45? She can make some $$$ right now for sure, and your 2:00 is a maybe. As for how long you should wait that will differ from person to person. Me I'm gonna give them at the most 15 Minutes from the time we agreed on a time, then I'm out. Some may wait longer, but if I made an appt and she has already assed that up I probably don't want to see her anyway. Now you will have providers that stick to their schedule, I suggest you keep them close, they are few and far between!!!!!

My expectation is to work towards a nice client provider relationship with about half a dozen ladies (at the most) that I'd be comfortable with and they'd be comfortable too. I figured the first step would be a little difficult but I can't seem to get off the ground. I would think at the current level of expected donations, I'd get a better response... So, I thought I would make sure I wasn't doing anything crazily wrong before I start to rant about just basic respect or professionalism. Honestly, if I'd set up an appointment at 2pm the day before but you call at 1:45pm and said now, only to have her drop mine and take yours... I'd be a bit pissed! However, I would hope that over just a little time, I could incur the level of respect that she wouldn't do that to me because we'd have a mutually beneficial connection she wouldn't want to risk loosing.
