Insofar as this money is in the form of military aid for Israel or wheat and grain for Egypt, it not only helps promote peace in the region (a "geo-political" benefit, look that word up instead of pretending you know what it means) but also benefits our domestic industry and US farmers. No one in his right mind would criticize the money spent on Iron Dome, which will have enormous spinoff benefits for our own missile defense programs - the ones we need to develop because Dimotard Presidents like Clinton and Odumbo keep allowing rogue states like North Korea and Iran to expand the range of their missiles. So all in all, our support for Israel is relatively peanuts and generates a much higher ROI for us than almost anything else in the federal budget today.
