I am not aware that ECCIE has been changed from a discussion forum into a scientific journal in which every "opinion" has to be backed up by data and evidence.

If this is indeed the case, then most posters (myself included) will have to STFU.

So when dealing with other hobbyists, we should be politically correct. But when dealing with providers, we can throw political correctness out the window because, hey, if they can't take it, too damn bad.
