you never heard of Arthur Lee and Love? fuck, they are the best band on that list! note I said "Band".. the Beatles were a Group by that time, basically doing solo songs within a Group context.
Oh, that’s so highly nuanced! Rock and Roll band or group is synonymous. Did groupies just fuck group members? Were there bandies just for bands?
Spirit and Led Zep played later at Lewisville...The Texas Woodtsock. Tommy James....Don't recall Crimson and Clover? Agree about Trower though...many people say a Hendrix wannabe...but he was original.
Sounds like you never listened to 60's radio....too busy listening to your dad's Henry Mancini record collection
Joan Jett's cover was better. considering i turned 10 in 1970, no i didn't listen to much 60's radio. by the 1970's AM was overtaken by this thing known as Frequency Modulation .. you may know it as FM Radio.
my dad preferred Big Band music actually. Didn't have any Mancini records. Glenn Miller was more his thing.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts did a show for us in Afghanistan. It was great! In addition to her own hits, she did a song or two from "Rocky Horror Picture Show". She'd done a stage gig as "Columbia" and played some of those songs.
Great thread. We talked about this at work today. Everyone from 21 to 65 were all just talking about how cool it was. Nice when we all can find common ground

Waco you are in my top three favorite rednecks. You, Lusty and bb1961. Bambino gets an honorable mention. IB gets favorite "bitter old man"
See. I knew there was a sense of humor there. I've seen it. It's hard to tell when someone is serious, and when someone is being an ass-troll. The fun is trying to figure it out.

I'll try harder to be your number one troll.
you would have to shitpost 24x7 to defeat the King of Trolls. Don't try. you seem to have a life.
