i am with the majority here...hell to tha NO. i jumped that ship in mid december and had nothing to do with it except in PIE for the ladies.

will the new site make it...don't care even a little. since i have been here and on home2 i see and still interact with all my faves. and with the leaps and bounds that it's growing i am perfectly (if not more so) happy right here.

the new owners showed such distain for the members that had in fact been the support of that site. and when it became clear that they actually did need us, extortion became the name of the game...great business sense! and now the same people want donations to start another one???

not one stinking dime...i say let it go. i don't care what anyone says, there is no way that this is what amber would have wanted.

I love ASPD, but simply asking me to donate to a new board; not guaranteed to be ASPD knock off or transfer of data from,,,, also,,,, via a blank money order (donations can be tax write offs, right?) sounds rather hinky too me and like pissing in the wind.. I'd rather buy a lotto ticket,, at least I know if I won or lost. :P
It is to easy for them to take the money and run,, not only that,, every one and their mother has been downloading data and saving it too. How hard is that??? I don't think they have crap, other than going through 100k membership and emailing/spamming them all and asking them to join their new board.. Pipedream! ASPD is gone,, may it RIP!

Here is a thought:
If you want a safe site and don't have the money, why not lease the servers from a source off US shore?
That raises two concerns:
1. You don't know what you are doing for safety
2. May be you do but you want to scam people out of their money

I doubt they'll get very much money that's pledge to them. Anyone can say they'll send money but doing it is a different story all together. I know I wouldn't give them a nickel. they came across as smug and condenscending to me.

Promise the people donating absolutely nothing.They will have zero say in the business nor input.

Omg. I have never seen so much banning goining on in my life on ASPD as I saw today! I am surprised I was not banned. At this point who cares. As it has been going don't believe what you read on aspd or eraps..Just wait.... .So far all I see is plagerism and greed. It is sad to see what is going on..
