They perform roughly 350,000 abortions a year. Assuming they charge $500 each, then revenues from abortions would be $175 million and repesent 25% of non-taxpayer revenues and 15% of PP's total revenues.
I'm against taxpayer funding for PP but let's have some honest accounting here. Where did the 86% number come from?

heres some more math:
your number of 1.2 billion in "revenues" isn't quite right, that might well be its budget but it isn't its revenue from services
it includes the taxpayer funding as you state, but it also includes gifts and grants and investment income
for example:
over $1.6 million was granted to PP by the Ford Foundation in 2011 and they have donated each year since at least 2007
Wikipedia says that grants and donations to PP were about $190 million in FYE 6-30-2011.
what gifts were in the 1.2 billion number i don't know

Ok, here is a good link explaining where the numbers came from. The 86% figure is calculated from the number of abortions performed by PP @ $800 each divided into total non-government health services revenues only.
327,653 x 800 = $262 million
NG services revenue = $305 million (23% of total revenues)
262/305 = 86%
http://www.ijreview.com/2015/09/4329...ederal-lummis/
Private donations/gifts amounted to $392 million (30% of total revenues) in fiscal 2014.
Isn't it interesting how none of the libtards here care about tracking down the real numbers and FACTS?
Facts are like kryptonite to libtards!

This continues to be one of the most ludicrous points of discussion on the board. The GOP is has told Ted Cruz to STFU already. Is forcing women to have unwanted and potentially abused children whose welfare you refuse to support more important than, say, protecting your God given right to keep mass shooters on the street?
History will remember these as the "Stupid times."

It's very queer how you lib-retards are so "law and order" when a lower level elected official in Kentucky refuses to tip-toe to a tune dictated by your cock-sucking buddies in the LBGT crowd, you Mussulman-luvin, Hitler worshipping, lying, hypocritical, racist, cum-gobbling golem fucktard, HDDB, DEM, but when it comes to enforcing the Hyde Amendment, DOMA or immigration laws, you moronic fuckers are blind as fuckin' bats.

The fact of the matter is that it is way cheaper to help women out with birth control and unwanted pregnancy's than it is to keep an unwanted child out of jail.
Jail, something you do not seem to mind spending money on.
So let's review the facts....you want women to have unwanted children , you do not want to pay for the proper care to keep that child from a life of crime but you have no problem paying for the imprisonment of that child once he does what statistics say he will do... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

What statistics? Show me the statistics that "prove" aborted children would, if allowed to be born, all grow uo to become criminals and wind up in jail. I must have missed that scientific study!
Hmmmmmmmmmm, making things up again, fagboy?

Several years ago, controversial writer Ann Coulter made headlines when she quoted these statistics, although they had already been published in a left-leaning magazine: A study cited in the Village Voice produced similar numbers. It found that children brought up in single-mother homes ‘are five times more likely to commit suicide, nine times more likely to drop out of high school, 10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances, 14 times more likely to commit rape (for the boys), 20 times more likely to end up in prison, and 32 times more likely to run away from home.’
She also added the following shocking information: By 1996, 70 percent of inmates in state juvenile detention centers serving long-term sentences were raised by single mothers. Seventy-two percent of juvenile murderers and 60 percent of rapists come from single-mother homes. Seventy percent of teenage births, dropouts, suicides, runaways, juvenile delinquents, and child murderers involve children raised by single mothers.

Wonder if we'll be seeing one of those tense, down-to-the-wire elections for that DOTY award between woomby and " Mr. 3 Time" assup ? Wonder which one will try to stuff the ballot box with illegal votes for themselves like the libs do ? Guess we'll see woomby's "alter egos" come out and vote for his victory ! woomby's tired of being the "runner up " after all of these years. Don't want any " hanging chads " to steal his rightful " crown " of an upturned shit bucket !

This sums it up. Read Freakonomics. You're a bleeding heart at exactly the wrong instances.

Looks like Lustyladyboy just got handed his ass, yet again. Way to go cock nugget. You don't want to pay on the front end and compassionately save the child from a potential life in prison, but you're happy to pay once they end up there. What a fucking maroon lol

Ok, so now you're linking studies of actual single mothers raising live kids to what MIGHT occur if fetuses weren't aborted? You should have said that in the first place. What if all those aborted children were instead adopted and raised in stable 2-parent families? And what about the ones who would have beaten the odds in single-mother homes? Do they deserve to be snuffed out because WTF thinks the statistics don't look good?
