Good to see the amends take place. Now back on topic. I was not active for six years. One disturbing change is the dilution of the meaning of gfe into a term equated with menu items available. For me, gfe is like Justice Potter Stewart's definition of obscene porn: you know it when you see it. You know it when you experience it. Illusion of passion is a good term, but the passion can also be quite real within boundaries. It is not about falling in love, though I realize it sometimes happens in the hobby. For example, I love my best friend and my kids and have a special connection with them. My affection for them is very strong. In the same way, though admittely with some Eros thown in for good measure, I love Jenna (she was jennaeros after all).

My problem is that when I rarely find it, I am usually disappointed if I continue looking for more. I'd rather enjoy my two or three motherloads of gold, then continue prospecting and sifting the soil looking for more gold. I'm content with enjoying my high quality discoveries. I was greedy last time around and always regretted not seeing my ATF much much more. I learn from my mistakes.

I hate to put this thread back on topic but here goes:

SP....you are correct about the lady from Tulsa....she was a firecraker!! The old saying about dynamite in small packages certainly fit her!!

I have been very lucky in that nearly every lady I have had the pleasure of spending time with was a wonderful experience. They have treated me very well!!

But....there were 4 ladies that took me to places no one else could or has since! They were all different in many ways but the end results were similar.....heaven!!! Two are retired...at least I think they are....and now that Jenna is back 2 are still active!

I need to get back to Dallas SOOON!!!

And what you wrote Introuble is what I was emphasizing but that message was lost on several posters. I maintain what I wrote as being correct and on target as I have seen nothing written that changes my opinions that were expressed the other day. This thread was a distinction as you have written and it was really good up to a point.

Excellent discourse! I see you remember the term GFE as it used to be. It did not belong to all, just a select few. It belonged only to the select few that could connect on a true and emotional level without strings or attachments. Each visit for both was like enjoying the company of a great and comfortable friend. "I'm so glad you are here, wrap your arms around me so I can feel your body next to mine"... That was the good stuff! And it will be again....

That is exactly my recollection. Back when I was last active in the early 2000's, there were only a handful of ladies who qualified for GFE status. Jenna was one. Cassidy was another. I lurked too damn long in 2001 before I jumped into this hobby and missed out on you Cassidy. That won't happen again. What a great week this has been for the hobby.

One thing that seems to be a consensus opinion is that the term GFE has become all too common and does not mean what some of us remember.

I'm tempted to drop it from my reviews UNLESS it's really there and just list the acronyms.

I always use the term GFE-Lite meaning one of the components is missing. While I want to be honest to the "brothers" I do not want to do un-neccessary harm to the "sisters" either. This way I let the guys know something was missing without being TOO negative.

Is it just me or is that providers that do GFE at there best is pretty much the same as doing it with your GF or SO after they have fallen out of love with you and the relationship is on the way out?

I dont think any provider is gonna be like your real GF where there so crazy about you could tell em to jump off a bridge and they would or there already dripping wet when you get home and they jump you as soon as you walk in.
