I agree, it CAN happen at higher end hotels however it is the exception to the rule and much more likely in large cities like LA.

When was the last time you heard of a sting at the Capital Hotel, The Peabody/Marriott, or the Embassy Suites in Little Rock?

LE prefers the low hanging fruit. Effective, comprehensive, thorough screening by both the lady and the gentleman is always essential regardless of the venue.

But you said it doesn't happen in higher end hotels yet there's posts all over Google including a post I read in TripAdvisor where the hotel manager responded to a poster saying they work with local LE.

I know in Oklahoma the hotel has to agree to allow for an undercover sting. Most high end hotels don't want that publicity. The high end usually leaves u alone unless u dress in public like a $2 tramp and have a revolving door of man-ho's

The property referenced in the four year old link above is now a Clarion. It is in a bad part of town (south of I-630) and never deserved to carry the Hilton name in the first place. The Clarion brand is more fitting for a lower quality property such as this one.

I still contend that 95% of stings do not take place in 4 & 5 star properties. As has been said earlier in this thread, NOTHING is fool proof. But I prefer to play the odds.

I bet Warren Stephens would never allow a sting to go down at the Capital Hotel. However I bet many a high dollar hooker have visited distinguished gentlemen staying at the Cap.

All of this back and forth only proves my point - you HAVE to screen if you are going to lower your chances of running into trouble. Yes, even with the best screening it "can" happen.........just as even after looking across the street before crossing you "can" get run over.....but that does not mean that you stop looking first!!

Thank you Felina for pointing this out....I couldn't agree more. This is exactly why I am not more active on the board. This constant bickering has NO positive effect and contributes NOTHING to improving a visit or helping to keep all involved safe from Uncle Leo. A house divided can not stand and all this bickering does is help LE divide and conquer.

I totally agree, Felina & Saddletramp. I have done my best to ignore it and have reported it to the mods for what it really is -- cyberstalking. I would genuinely appreciate it if those of you observing would do the same, and RTM it. Thanks.

In the meantime, and especially in light of the current circumstances -- I suggest those of us that truly have a vested interest in the Arkansas hobby come together, & continue to offer each other helpful tips & advice for screening, playing safe & avoiding trouble.

There's a certain circle of trust most of us here are in. If we can't vouch directly, we can usually find someone reliable who can. Those are the only people I'm concerned about right now. Can someone answer this question for me???? I never really understand what the point of the normal two call system,,,to me it's about as dumb as a box of rocks. Call when you get to blah blah location then call again when your at blah blah then she gives you the room number. Like how is that a form of screening cause I had a few providers do it to me and I read in alot of reviews that's how it goes down. So how is that a form of screening? Cause shit a complete idiot could figure that out and LE what you don't think they can drive around and make phone calls. Or does the provider have look outs at 1st location as in pimp, if so I call BS cause I'm never at first location or second location I just lie,,,I space my calls about 15 minutes apart.

How about the ones that put the dumb disclaimer in there ad,,,,not busting anybody chops but how about those that have the little disclaimer in there signature line or the ones that put in there reviews that this is totally fictional event that took place,,, they going to try and tell the cops when there putting the handcuffs on they were having a dream and this is a fictional event we're having here.
