Some moderators have thinner skins than others. Once upon a time I moderated both the Politics and Religion Board and the National Discussion Board on TER along with a few smaller boards. You can't imagine all the nasty comments, threats and Posts that started with "I know the cowardly cunt who moderates this board will never let this air, but this is what I think..." I saw over over there. I never let any of it get to me, nor did I censor anyone just because I didn't like he or she.
I don't think the mods on any board need to be treated with kid gloves, but it is what it is. Like I said some mods have thinner skin than others.
Back to that OThER board, I remember when the Euro Cunts took over, pretty much anything even resembling free and open conversation disappeared literally for years, I hope things never get that bad here.
