It's been suggested you need to freeze your balls off with an ice pack before you hit them with the razor. lol

but seriously though:

When you are ready to shave your balls, splash them with cold water. This will help ensure the scrotum tightens up, making it easier to shave the area. You can also use shaving cream that has been chilled in the refrigerator to help ensure the tightness throughout the process.


If you are using a manual razor, you will need shaving cream. If you are using an electric razor, you will want to dry the area a bit and definitely avoid the shaving cream.
Step 3: Shave in Correct Position and Direction

• Hold in the right position: One of the most important parts of learning how to shave your balls is the way you must hold them in order to avoid cuts. Use your free hand to stretch the skin a bit, keeping it taut and flat. Then use gentle, smooth swipes with the razor to remove the hair.

• Rinse your balls halfway through and feel them with your fingertips to find any areas you might have missed. Go over those areas the same way you did the first time, holding the skin taut.
