Do you think that one must be a descendant of slave owners in order to be racist?

You constantly try to use little word changes or phrases to not admit being wrong. I don't think you are stupid or a dumbass but u play with words

Simple logic by what the article said America is intimately tied to it

Let's see, Obama Bush and so on, last time I looked were Americans as were their ancestors. So it doesn't take a PhD to realize they are part of America, therefore berry is right and you can play games with words all u want

Google says the US population was 31,443,221

395000/31443221= 0.012562286280129 or ~1.3% rounding up.

What am I missing here?

I’m trying to figure out the point of this thread?
Are you bragging for Trump that he doesn’t have a great, great, great, great, great Uncle that was a slave trader?

You're missing that almost half of the free households in Mississippi and South Carolina owned slaves, and more than a quarter of the free households in most of the free states owned slaves. You're purposely trying to minimize it, just like you did when you falsely claimed that racism doesn't exist in the US any more.

Or course America is intimately tied to it. It was a major part of the history, unfortunately. I'm not the one who used the "little word change." I used the exact words. "Playing with words" is saying that what someone's great great great grandfather did is intimately tied to them. The article didn't say that. That was the "little word change."

Don't hold your breath for an answer, but that seems to be what he's doing. It's absolutely meaningless.

I think it's like simultaneously that people aren't racist because of the actions of their ancestors, but also that Trump is the only not racist president because his ancestors didn't own slaves somehow.

Gentlemen time to ge this thread back on the original topic

It’s about “Descendant of slaveholders” it’s not about Trump being or not being a racist, racism or US population

So are you saying you dispute Reuter's investigation and findings that Obama is a direct descendent of slaveowners or are you saying you didn't bother reading the article or perhaps you read it and you just don't understand their investigation and article?

Because if you would have read the article, you would know that Obama is a direct descendent of slave owners

Okay, so what's the relevance of that? What is the discussion you're looking to have here?

Lol. I think he is. Not sure why else it was brought up. That said, being (or not being) a descendant of slave owners has no bearing on the present generation.

OK. So what? Trump is not the descendant of slave owner and Obama is. Big deal. I judge people by their own words and actions, not by the words and actions of their great great great grandfather. If you didn't want to talk about racism why did you say this:
Quote:
Oh my, what are those who falsely cry racism all the time going to say about this information
Other than that, what's the point? What about this fact that you have presented do you want to discuss? If you don't want to expand upon it, it's just a meaningless declaration.

Ok…again….what difference does that make? What is your point of pointing out that Obama is a descendent of slaveowners and guy that you pointed out (twice) in your original post but we can’t mention for some reason, isn’t a descendent of slaveowners.
The point is…….(finish the sentence).

Wow, is their a parrot in the room? Seems the last 4 people all repeated themselves

Or did all the leftists decide that because they can't refute these facts, that the new leftist talking point is why does it matter.

How pathetic

Lot's of reasons why it matters. They are just too afraid to admit it

The point is to underscore how all of the living Presidents, who are unwilling to talk about their ties to slavery, are darkened by the shadow of slavery's legacy through blood relations, with one very notable exception, Donald Trump
