For those trying to keep up with this trollfest of a thread, there has been a total of 6 bombs.

This morning one went off in a FedEx Factory in Schertz and a 6th one in S. Austin.

THe most recent one (started being reported on around 8pm est), was NOT linked to the others. Seems someone got a delivery of military memorabilia, one of which was some sort of 'incendiary device' (grenade??) that went off..

Just saw live comments by Austin PD Chief at the scene ..

LE apparently knew who he was for about 24 hours, had him under surveillance at a hotel/motel in the Round Rock area, a SWAT team followed him when he left, stopped with him along side I35, were waiting for the "heavy equipment" to arrive when he started to leave, and one team member fired at him as he "got back into his vehicle." Once inside the vehicle a bomb went off.

The Chief said the ME will have to make a positive identification and the case is still under investigation to determine if he acted alone ... and/or what other issues had to be determined.

The Chief described him as: 24-year-old White male and he had been previously identified by video and witnesses, which began the surveillance....ALTHOUGH the Chief said continue to be vigilant in looking out for packages .. since they don't know what he's been doing for the past 24 hours ...????
