none of this has a political solution. There is no difference in your tribe / parties. None of this started in the last few years.
WHERE to turn?
How about yourself?
I have presented a case on why you shouldn't just be spoonfed opinions from an agency proven to lead you astray and your question is asking for a better agency to be spoonfed from?
how about **thinking for yourself**?
I take it you didn't see the response in post #27 with the video on the state of journalism. Why don't you just slow down before you manically hit POST and bother yourself with reading replies, first?
You read an AP story, then just interrogate the veracity of what they are reporting. Everyone should be doing this anyway, regardless if it is covid or not.
Much of what is reported are half-truths, like "HOSPITALS ARE AT 70% CAPACITY"
well, they are implying that is from COVID in a "COVID STORY" article. If you look closer, you'll see that 1) hospitals are meant to be occupied. That's how they make money. 2) the statement can be true without being indicative due to COVID (inpatients from newborn, oncology, etc) 3) what is the scope ? A really cheap practice our state would do was always get quotes from the SMALLEST HOSPITAL in the state. Well, no shit, they're struggling to keep up....they only have 15 beds total.
