My biggest concern is that the Muslims who claim to be good people do not denounce the radicals; or aid CIA or FBI or local police with intel. WE segregated the American Japanese and others after WW2 Pearl Harbour.
Oh I forgot: no balls. Bruce Jenner's promise to donate his balls to Obama was rejected.

If people don't like our country or don't want to abide by out laws, why not go where they will be more comfortable. Really...love it or leave it. Please don't give a liberalanswer like our"they have a right or are entitled to live here.
Prolongus, what will my defense be when I am offended, incited and go BSC and shoot people that offend me and my beliefs? All I am looking for is a good defense.......

Come to think of it, I was enraged with the government grant that went to Maplethorpe who when on to put a crucifix in urine and call it art. Did I miss my opportunity to go on a rampage?
I bitched and moaned and none got hurt.
Those that are considered a minority, potentially disenfranchised, special interest group or was not considered born with a Liverpool in their mouth is treated with political correctness, bending over backwards aol they are not uncomfortable and feel like they are excepted and included, all to a gross point that erode the material that makes this country great.
If people come here from a different land, they must have a motivation for leaving that land. Why would we want to make changes here to be accommodating and make them feel like they are excepted"at home" when they were motivated to leave that home. If they were born here and really enjoy stick (lets say Muslim) laws, why not leave and head out?
The liberals in Paris have carved out neighborhoods that are Muslin run. Muslim law is applied and the Paris authorities do not enter or rule those areas. It has really backfired.
Ok, don't ranting. I am going to dream of the days of roller disco and Ronald Reagan.
Sorry about typos and auto correct...damn cell phones!

a bit off-topic, but if I was a radical Muslim intent on attacking others last weekend, for their value system that did not align with my own?
it would not be for a cartoon drawing contest.. it would be for the outrageous money and attention paid to frivolous sporting events.. namely..
(1) the NFL draft... where people gathered at stadiums to watch a TV feed from Vegas, to see which College player could be auctioned like Cattle
(2) the Kentucky Derby... where the Bourgeois gather in their Southern Finest to drink, eat, be seen, and throw big money at a fucking horse race
(3) the Mayweather fight.. where the elite and wealthy flew in to Vegas by private jet, spent millions of dollars on a boring, hyped fight
I wouldn't waste my bullets trying to upset a gathering of mostly Tea-Party adherents, bent on inciting a few ne'r-do-well Islamic Goons.. I would call attention instead to the 3 items above.. in Civil protest.. something constructive and worthwhile to rally for..

6 years ago the govt set up an Iraqi refugee camp, now a city in between Burleson and Mansfield. Approximately 13,000 Iraqis have resettled there and created their own city.
Next month Ft Worth will take in 14,000 Syrian refugees. Ft Worth has been designated to be the largest resettlement for these people. This is one reason why the city of ft worth has agreed to partner with the federal govt to nationalize/federalize the ft worth police force with 7 other cities.
There once was a time when people came to the U.S. To assimilate to become Americans. Not anymore. They come and create their own new America in their own sub cities where we are expected to conform. There is nothing wrong with keeping your culture alive, but do not expect or demand US Nationals to conform to your culture. You can say we are all immigrants all you wish and I say bullshit. I was born here which makes me a U.S. Citizen. I may have German Ancestry but I don't call myself an Austrian American or get but thirst if they call me white instead of Caucasian or Austrian American. When I receive students and go thru their govt ppw they will put African aMercian as their nationality. It's sad when I have to ask them what country they are a citizen of and the become inflamed when I tell them Nationality means what country you're a citizen of and tell them there is no country called Africa America, there is a continent called Africa and a country called United States of America. I am U.S. citizen or American. It's not going to take long for this country to be a country or hundreds of other countries and we will no longer have our country. So many people hate our country yet have no problem living off us.
My rant is done.

There ARE limits to free speech: Obscenity, child pornography, fighting words. A few more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...ons#Incitement
I'm sure the interpretation of "incitement" could be challenged in court but anyone who thinks this group was there in Garland to ONLY demonstrate their freedom of speech has their head up their ass. Did they have the free speech right to do what they did with this cartoon contest? Absolutely. Were they thinking about inciting radical Muslims by holding it? Of course they were; and it worked for them.

Von Spieler..........+1000 on your african American reference, it pisses me off to no end that my heritage isn't worth being added to me being American. Everyone else is african, mexican, asian, or whatever, but I'm just a white guy.
When will the media start using black, brown, yellow, white, etc. instead of a fucking country your ancestors came from.
Anyway, back to the OP's original subject matter....................

No, and neither the rallies of KKK for that matter.

If drawing cartoons of Mohammad at a private function is too provocative, then the terrorists are winning. And your condemnation of Americans exercising their 1st Amendment rights is aiding and abetting the terrorists. You are more concerned about not offending terrorists than protecting our rights to free speech.
Why is that?

The Draw Mohammad Cartoon Contest was legal, permitted free speech.
