A child of the '60's, I grew up in the '70's.
The environment of free love, drugs sex
and rock & roll. I never had a problem getting
laid. Hookers were generally drug addict street
walkers, dirty girls, and not in the fun sense.
Real dirt. Back then, the worst that could happen
from a one night stand was maybe gonorrhea, crabs
or worst case syphilis. Where a shot of penicillin
a handful of pills, and two weeks of not being
able to fuck. Nowadays, you got AIDS & herpes
shit that will either kill you or never go away...
Those were indeed simpler times, the good ol days.
And at times, the best sex I experienced were those
when I was with the one I loved, and the illusion
of passion was REAL Passion. I love the providers
that I've had the pleasure of being with. The IOP,
at least on my part is real passion. At least for the
time that I'm with her, then next week it's on to the
next. My favorites, they know who they are, I
make it no secret what they mean to me. But I
can't commit to a long term relationship. Won't
set myself up for the 'slings and arrows of outrageous
fortune'... All the headaches that go along with a
RW relationship.
Although I'm still getting the hang of this Eccie world.

I'm neither arrogant or naive. The "good old days" you're waxing about had as much cheating as relationships today. Just because women of 40 years ago didn't leave their cheating husbands because of financial reasons, doesn't they weren't equally banging the mailman. Today we just have a more open discussion about it and women are more empowered to do what they need and want. The "good old days" is a day dream old people have when they want to feel better than their current situation.
