One of the guidelines I have used in SD/SB arrangements is:
"The Campground Rule" told by Dan Savage,
Paraphrased it is:
Leave your SugarBaby in better condition than you found her, meaning financially, psychologically, physically, and emotionally.
I have certainly attempted to do so.
(BTW, they have all left me, not me leaving them. I always say; you are your own independent woman, you owe me nothing, if you find a better situation you are free to take it. Crazy thing is, they do leave and then try to bounce back when they realize how good they had it)
What each of my young SB's have all needed was mentoring in the life skills to advance in society (or at least get along).
Things like self-awareness, prioritizing, goal-setting, time management, etc.
They all have been "unruly children" at the beginning, or they would not have been in their situation.
I tell myself that by providing encouragement and direction it brings a higher purpose to the arrangement. I may simply be delusional, (I have earned the epitaph "Captain Save-A-Ho" from my friends, but I hope that my association with these girls has added value to their lives.
