I've seen cameras in rooms and I've seen the monitor at the front desk at multiple places over the years. I think it's pretty common. I just hope they don't keep the recordings.

Rarely ever are there cameras in rooms. Everywhere else is fair game. Yes, there have been some spas that have 1 room with a camera in it, (normally not used), that they may use that room to allow other people to “analyze” or in fact record activities for “blackmail” or to use to keep people from raiding them. It has and may still happen.

I have no idea if the owners’ use of recording devices in rooms is universal or near non-existent, but it has occurred in the past. A decade or so ago the owner of Studio Wet used secret video recordings of sessions to show a cop was banging one of his girls. The cop was kicked off the force and I think even did time.

I’m not talking about LE planting cameras that stay in the room. I’m talking about cameras that they wear in on there clothing or pocket (ie watch, pen, button cam) record the session, and then wear back out with them.
They would lay the watch or pen on the table or hang their shirt just right to capture the interaction. I don’t believe a warrant is needed if they are present during the recording… just like bodycam on the street.
