The 30-minute interview with chief political reporter Bret Baier started on a tense note, with Baier asking Harris to estimate how many “illegal immigrants” she thought the Biden administration had “released into the country in the last three-and-a-half years.”
As Harris began her answer, Baier repeatedly interrupted her in an attempt to have her provide a hard number.
“I’m in the middle of responding to the point you’re raising,” Harris told Baier. “I’d like to finish.”
I didn't watch it, but my ex called me about one of our kid's bullshit while I was driving home, and she told me about the interview. She told me I was right when I compared it to a debate a few days ago and how there really is no winner in these debates but when you lose, it is pretty obvious. She simply said Harris didn't win but she didn't lose either. I knew what she meant.
Anyway, what the fuck is up with Fox News? Is everyone who watches that damn channel unemployed or retired? My ex-wife called me around 6:30 CST and she said she had already watched it. I just assumed it would be aired at 8 CST so the west coast could catch it. I know I could go find it on YouTube in 2 seconds but what's the fucking point now? I've seen enough different clips of it that I feel like I've already watched the damn thing. Haha
BB: “More than 70% of people tell the country is on the wrong track. They say the country is on the wrong track. If it’s on the wrong track, that track follows 3.5 years of you being Vice President and President Biden being President. That is what they are saying! 79% of them. Why are they saying that if you’re turning the page, you’ve been in office for 3.5 years,” Bret Baier said.
KH: “And Donald Trump has been running for office.”
BB: “But you’ve been the person holding the office.”
KH: “Come on, you and I both know what I’m talking about. You and I both know what I’m talking about!” Harris said.
BB: “Actually, I don’t. What are you talking about…you’re the one in power.”
Yet I see countless people on social media every day saying they will vote for this useless woman, just because they do not like Trump.
So they will vote for her and are willing to accept 4 more years of high inflation, high cost of living, unaffordable energy and food and gasoline prices, open border, high crime, the possibility of a nuclear World War 3, the possibility of food and energy shortages, the possibility of depression era unemployment, the possibility of depression era bread and soup lines, the possibility of depression era nationwide homelessness and poverty, etc etc
Everything that was caused by the Biden administration that Kamala is also responsible of because she is the VP.
BUT Of Course instead of accepting responsibility for those problems, Kamala blames Trump for all those problems because Trump's running for office for a 2nd term the past 4 years caused all those problems (HOW???), she said it herself in the FOX interview,
an entire interview where instead of giving concrete answers on how she will fix those issues the next 4 years if elected, she spent it attacking Trump and blaming Trump.
People are fine with that because they been brainwashed by the left media about how Trump is a dictator and socialist and that he will start world war 3 and imprison Americans by deploying the US military on continental American soil etc etc,

Brett Baier is on M-F at 5 pm Central Time and 6 pm Eastern time for an hour covering all the news of the day.

What the fuck does all of that ranting and raging have to do with the topic of this thread? I did not start this thread for that shit. There are plenty of other threads in this forum for that.

Thanks. I just assumed it would be aired in primetime for all regions to watch across the country. I obviously assumed wrong. Haha
Edit for CG below: Do I really need to post, "your thoughts folks about only the topic" or am I giving too many people credit by assuming that since staff repeatedly reminds people to stay on topic that they should already know that?
She said nothing useful in her FOX interview on how to fix the issues. Baiar even ask her how she would do it because that was the main concern on the voters' mind. Instead of answering his questions and giving solutions, she just rant on about Trump and blaming Trump.

@Lucas: So you are okay with 4 more years of what this country been getting for the last almost 4 years?
She did fine. Bret Bair was a Trump campaign surrogate pretending to be a news anchor questioning Harris. She didn’t lose votes. She wasn’t gonna gain Trump votes and she can check the box that she went on Fox. She didn’t stumble or back down. She did what she needed to do. If there’s a gettsble Fox viewer she might have gotten that person. Anyone that watched it saw that Bret took every GOP talking point and presented it like it was a legit question.
Yeah, 1b1, I just assumed it would be like a debate where there would be no real winners unless someone completely lost, and the person just won by default, I knew it would not be a completely fair interview because the interviewer knows where his paychecks are coming from, and Trump owns Fox News for now.
I saw a clip where they left off half of the shit Trump said about the military intervening and was impressed by how Harris called Fox out about how they completely took Trump's answer out of context by only showing half of it. I also saw a clip about the pictures of dead bodies he showed Harris of Americans killed by illegals. My only thought was, "why not just let Eric Trump interview her so it would be less obvious what's going on here?" All she had to do was stand her ground and from what I saw and read, she did just that.
Fox News has long ago stopped being partisan, even their supposed News side. Remember Bret Bair stated they should change AZ back to undecided because their audience was butthurt. Were he a real journalist he would have simply said “the facts are the facts”. Everyone with sense knows that Fox isn’t about news. It’s a GOP and Trump media outlet. There is no real independent reporting or unbiased reporting left on that network.
That said, she did fine. She didn’t back down and she didn’t stumble. She treated him like a Trump surrogate and showed why she way laid Trump in the debate.

Harris never answered any question. Anyone on the fence or wanting to hear more details never got an answer.
Bret Bair (sic)... took every GOP talking point and presented it like it was a legit question.
So you're telling us every single question he asked was illegitimate?
Can you be more specific? Give examples, please.
Just because you don't like a question doesn't mean it's not "legit".
Bret Baier asked the questions that are very much on the minds of millions of Americans who are still evaluating Kamala Harris. If she struggled to answer them, it's because they dealt with policy decisions made by her and Biden (e.g. opening the border) that are simply not defensible. None of the questions were unexpected. At this point in the campaign, she should have better answers to them, however unpersuasive those answers may be.
When it comes to her efforts to distance herself from Sleepy Joe, Kamala can't win. She doesn't want to tick him and his staff off, plus she wants to take credit for being a "player" in his ill-fated decisions (e.g. she brags about being the last person in the Situation Room when he ordered the US pullout from Afghanistan). So she owns his record too. There's no way anyone can view a vote for Kamala as "turning the page" on the last 3-1/2 years of disastrous policy decisions.

assuming you watched the full interview which i posted if you call that "fine" one wonders what it would take for you to call it a "train wreck" which it was.
Bret Baier asked questions, Harris never answered them.
amusing you are suddenly trying to call out the other candidate's interviews.

stood her ground? you also need to watch the full interview. the woman was argumentative from the first question which was about how many illegals had been allowed in. she refused to answer. no mystery why yes?
you guys claiming Bret Baier is a "Trump surrogate" is laughable and shows just how desperate people are to whitewash this train wreck of an interview was.
